 Beautiful campsite on the edge of a cliff with fabulous views.
Site owner very friendly and well organised.
Very well equipped facilities and utilities clearly available.
Treated to a fabulous sunset too.

Quaint site, great host, lovely site for birdwatchers. At least 4 Great Northern Divers, 45 Long-tailed Ducks, loads of Black Guillimots and waders.
Microwave and air fryer available for use in campers kitchen.
Would obviously recommend!

What a fabulous site.
Perfect location overlooking the sea. Great facilities.
Very clean and tidy.
Donald the owner is so helpful.
On our first night our electrics kept tripping out and he tried everything to help us.
Couldn’t have asked for more.
Thoroughly recommend this place.

This was the second leg of this particular trip back to Barra, the first leg being at Scurrival for which I have left another review
Borve is situated on the South West side of the island and all pitches command a wonderful view of the sea with a bay terminating at the land apex of the site, great for wandering down to
Reasonably priced and plenty of electric hookups (book in advance is my recommendation) the site is very well maintained and contains a central building which includes male and female showers/WC and a kitchen area with pretty much everything you'd need
Despite being a lot busier than the north end of the island, the site pitches are thoughtfully laid out so you are never on top of others even in the camping section. As you are facing the sea and the island can be subject to high winds I'd recommend some sturdy pegs for your tents
Easy access via the road to other coves, attractions and the ferry port

Borve Campsite is in an outstanding location overlooking the Atlantic and handily placed for the castlebay Ferry.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Our second year here, this time with fine weather. Perfect spot overlooking the sea.
A very well looked after site, spotless showers and loos. A washing machine and dryer. And some unexpected little extras.
And Donald never far away for advice or just a chat.
And it’s small and peaceful, just like the island itself.

It was excellent - Donald the owner couldn’t have been more helpful.
The view from the site was fantastic and it was only a short to the main town.
Also a short distance to Vatersay.
