I stayed here on July 29th (2021) in my small tent whilst on a cycling holiday and found this to be an excellent site which despite being slightly off the beaten track is well signposted and easy to find with friendly staff,
Good and clean facilities and careful but still practical procedures for the Covid Pandemic restrictions relating to which were still legally in force in Scotland during my stay.
There is a small parade of shops just around the corner for any supplies you might need and plenty of space on site for tents with no real issues to complain about,
Other than perhaps the somewhat stony ground which is not the easiest to get your pegs more than a few inches into.

Great site very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic views very quite. Well maintained site very clean, and pet friendly.
Our 2nd visit here would highly recommend! The only down side to the stay is the dreaded Midges but as long as you use "Skin So Soft" (avon) or Smidge it helps a lot!
Small quiet village only 18 miles from local ferry point to take you across to access Fort William.

Great Campsite in a beautiful location.
Friendly owners and relaxed atmosphere.
Stayed in excellent Cedar Cabin with underfloor heating, 2 bunks, sofa bed, microwave and kettle.
Camping pitches and hard standing available.
Campsite facilities very good.
Showers / Toilets / Laundry facility is old, but has been modernised and immaculately clean.
The on site Bothy has indoor seating, woodburner, drying room, coffee, tea with covered decking and BBQ.
Local shop 500 yards away and well stocked and with ATM. Attached cafe very good.
Local Hotel has the Bothy Bar about 0. 5 mile away, quality food and welcoming bar.
Sunart is a brilliant base location to explore Ardgour, Ardnamurchan, Moidart, Morven with easy access to Mull, Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glen Coe, Mallaig.

We have visited this site several times. Easy to locate in the village of Stontian and within walking distance there is a good restaurant.
Within a short walk there is a food shop and a takeaway cafe.
The owner is welcoming and helpful regarding the local area and site fees are very very reasonable.
There is excellent dog walking in the wood behind the site and also along the Fairy trail which goes along the River Strontian and goes through ancient Oak forests.
There is the Ariundle Cafe on the way round. The rest of the coastline is beautiful and worth exploring.
The toilet and shower facilities are fairly old but kept spotlessly clean and adhere to Covid regulations.
We will continue to return to this lovely area.

It was nice stay. Lovely and friendly owner. I had some misunderstanding on payment. In email I was told £16pn. But when we came price was a bit more, and for 3 nights I paid 68 for a tent, myself, wife and 3 year old son.
Location is good, but during the day noises from the farm are quite disruptive. Grass is very green and soft.
Barbecue and communal area with few electricity sockets were very useful for us.
Children's playground is 3 minutes walk from the camping.
Hot showers are perfect. =)

If you want peace and tranquillity then this is the perfect location. Lovely pitches and a friendly owner.
The downside is the toilet and shower facilities which are not only very dated but filthy as well, there were only another two other caravans on the site so they weren’t overly used,
This is the only reason we wouldn’t use this site again

Stayed 2 nights whilst touring Sunart & Arnamurcahan, enroute Kilchoan.
Very peaceful campsite with friendly owners.
Good hand-standing pitch for van with grass for awning, electric hookup.
Well spaced pitches.
Good price inclusive of showers.
Laundry facilities on site (extra reasonable £) which we used.
Great location with easy access to Loch Sunart environs and Ariundle wood. Good walks and trail runs in the locality (from the door).
In fact probably the best Yaaarkshire campsite in Scoootland!
Look forward to returning next year.

Neat and tidy site which is very quiet. Hard standings with hookup, grass area for tents also with hookups, and camping pods. Prices are available on the website.
I don't know about the promised wifi as it apparently can only be picked up near reception but I picked up BT openzone. This is very fast in the early dawn but at most other times slow or barely working, as the actual owners probably use it for streaming TV. There is no TV reception with a normal campervan aerial. Nor is there radio reception, so take a book.
The surrounding countryside is lovely and well worth exploring. At the moment (until Xmas 2018) the car park at Ariundle woods for the oak forest walk is closed (except at weekends) because of forestry work. The alternate path actually starts near the entrance to the campsite - facing it go right for 100m and you will see the diversion signs. There is another short forest walk starting from the bridge in Strontian, and is very pretty. Pick up the forestry commission leaflet of walks at the shop.
The only other downside to the site are the old and cold facilities, though they are kept clean. The sink taps gush scalding water with the force of a firehose and go off the instant you stop pressing. This makes tooth brushing and washing quite difficult. They should be replaced. The shower gives out a poor and not overly warm spray of water.
The owner is very friendly.

Excellent small site behind village square in Strontian.
One night stay at start of Ardnamurchran/Mull trip
Back of hedge by some residential houses
Good pitch spacing, breeze to keep midgies away,
Decent quality facilities and well looked after
Only one shower but still cleaned off my hillwalking sheen.
Additional bothy area for relaxing/fridge freezer/ borrowing books etc
Enjoyable quick stay only couple minutes from village shop/cash machine and nearby play park.

Quiet location within walking distance of village.
Pitch prices reasonable, Staff friendly and helpful
The facilities are ok Toilet/ shower block( free shower), Laundry area. There's a communal lounge type area with fridge and log burner and a nice decking BBQ Area. Only minor point lack of sockets in communal areas for charging phones. Was a bit surprised to find the local shop shuts at 5:30pm, so either bring provisions with you or get in there early.
Nearby eating out at The Bothy only a small Bar and dining area,
Gets booked up very quickly so suggest book well in advance.
The sites a nice place to chill but remember to come with your food, as shopping options limited.
