Great clean camp site, well run by the wardens,
Easy walking in to Braemar, lots of walks from just outside the camp gates,
Great golf course next door.

Beautiful site with excellent facilities, and easy walking distance to the village which had good choices of places to eat and drink for everyone.
Would certainly stay there again. Oh great staff as well, couldn't have been more attentive.

Fantastic campsite in a great setting.
Very friendly staff and the facilities were good even with Covid restrictions in place.
To be honest I can’t criticise anything, will certainly be back.

Our favourite site, and has been that with our family for years due to its location. Spent one night here on our way home from a tour of Scotland, where the facilities in every site we visited were open.
Yet, here, the toilets and showers were closed to all but those in the pods and tents.
The warden said that people were not social distancing within or around the toilet blocks! I stayed here 2 months ago, and I never saw that but it was obvious there would be problems, they had closed half the showers and cubicles, but were filling every pitch they could.
Won't be back soon, unless they start to treat their customers a bit better,

We’ve stayed here quite a few times and it’s still brilliant as ever. Staff always had time to speak to everyone who was passing the reception and their always busy doing something.
Just recently bought a touring caravan, motorhome we had previously.
We booked pitch 84, for a novice reversing a caravan probably not the easiest pitch to start learning to reverse to be honest. That being said, I was given assistance to push it onto the pitch so it wasn’t too bad, maybe a little embarrassed 😳
That being said, we’re on the waiting list for a seasonal pitch and we’ve got everything crossed we get one soon as we just love the area and the site itself

Had a really nice couple of days stay here. The pitch was flat so no need to level up, the site was well maintained and the staff were friendly. Great views of the surrounding hills from the pitches. The facilities were a little dated, but the shower was powerful enough and hot.
Braemar village is a short stroll away, the fish and chip shop did great battered haggis, so well worth a try. Lots of good walking directly from the site and also the castle which was an interesting hour’s entertainment. The shop in the village enabled us to top up with supplies and there is also a petrol station.
All-in-all a really good site and one we’d definitely hope to return to.

Delightful site with views to near hills (can’t see Cairngorm range from here). Good facilities in two blocks with new drive over MH waste and extendible hose for fresh water.
No problem with TV reception with directional aerial: vertical polarity pointed approximately west. EE (4G) and three (3G) reception very good.
Short walk into village and had lunch in the Fife Arms Flying Stag Bar: it is nothing like the old bar that was just a big scruffy drinking area with hardly any seating that did not even allow dogs.
It has gone seriously upmarket since the huge refurbishment and is a really nice comfortable dog friendly lounge bar with small but excellent menu and a couple of good real ales; service was superb and not expensive for the highlands. Excellent Sunday lunch next day in their snug bar – booking needed.

This is a well kept site with good facilities but be aware we could not get any radio or TV reception. You possibly need a extra stand alone aerial or a dish. I think the site should make this clear in their web page.
No problem if this is not important to you.
That aside the site is in a great location for a quiet break, the village is just a short walk away with a couple of hotels and eateries, chip shop, co-op shop etc etc.
The Fife Arms is a smart looking hotel albeit we didn’t use it as we had a small toddler with us.
The site would benefit from a better child play area with a bit more stuff suitable for small kids.
Happy to recommend this site, just be aware of the lack of tv reception.

Although not far from home this was our first visit to this site.
Warm welcome, level site with spacious pitches and spotless facilities it is difficult to fault. A short walk or cycle into village with adequate facilities made this a pleasurable stay. Took Moho for a run up to Linn of Dee which was absolutely glorious albeit judgement was probably coloured by exceptional weather prevailing. Will look to return soon
