We've stayed at Riverside a few times and always enjoyed it,
The site is very clean and tidy and Alison and her staff work hard to keep it that way,
It's very handy for skipton and the nth Yorkshire dales, the train station is a 10min walk away with trains every 15mins into skipton,
There are two pubs just at the end of the lane,
Kids can play safe.
There is a strict noise curfew after 10-30 which everyone adheres to

Cononley is a brilliant location as it has lovely walks locally but also a train station from where it is very easy to get to Skipton in one direction and Saltaire or Bradford in the other.
For this stay we used the train as the weather, including storm Dudley, wasn’t conducive to long walks and the fields were somewhat waterlogged! Likewise, we are aware that we weren’t seeing the campsite at its best due to the wet conditions.
However, we were made very welcome and the facilities, while a little dated, were fine with hot showers (coin operated, 50p) and clean loos and it is very good value.
We would definitely like to come back in the summer when we can make the most of the lovely location.

Good facilities and very clean and tidy.
Good size pitches with hard-standing and lush grass.
Would definitely return!

This is a wonderful site, the pitches are flat the facilities great and it is in a beautiful location.
The owners are very friendly and a good source of where to walk your dog from the site.
We look forward to going back to this site next year.

The site is in a great location.
There are a couple of local pubs both of which are really nice, one does food.
If you have kids there is a great park 5 mins walk away.
The toilets and showers could really do with knocking down and rebuilding as extremely tired and grubby.

Having had a break from camping for a few years, I decided to go reasonably local to home. I managed to talk my brother in law to join us with his family, we spent 2 nights at Riverside camping with electric hookup.
The site is situated in Cononoley, a beautiful village with 2 pubs, small store and a park that the children (young and old) enjoyed.
The facilities on site are clean, but basic. However this would not deter us from revisiting the campsite when back in the area.
Alison (the owner) is very friendly and leaves you to your own devices, and we chose our own pitches.
The site has a relaxed and informal feel and is very good value for money, at £23 per pitch per night, including electric hookup.

Fabulous site! Lovely and quiet mid week, can imagine it would get very busy in peak times and holiday season. Plenty of room with large pitch sites. Ameneties more than adequate and kept very clean.
Lovely staff and views to die for! Short stroll to 2 great pubs and station for a quick ride into Skipton.

Lovely site and a friendly welcome from Allison. We were staying in a large group but they were very accommodating.
The toilet and shower block is small for the size of the site but adequately served or needs.
The site is well kept and we even had a visit from the ice-cream van as we first arrived.
The site is situated in a little village but it has a small shop, 2 pubs and great rail links just a very short walk from the site. What else could you want.
