Camp site was lovely and clean, bit of confusion when booking and checking in but once we knew where we were pitching it was all systems go,

The owner is lovely and very welcoming,

Facilities were spotlessly clean,

Nice park on site if you have younger children,

If fishing is your thing then the lake looked ideal, if not its a lovely view to wake up to,

The food at the on site bistro Cafe was amazing! Wished it was open on our last day as we just wanted to try everything! Pub literally across the road too!

Quite a small pitch which was ideal for us but could have been better if the pitches weren't so close together as we did have someone knock one of our guy ropes out.

Could possibly benefit for some rules putting in place ie noise level at certain times of the night and very early in the morning, but that isn't a reflection on the site more the people visiting.

All in all was a very nice place to stay and would recommend for anyone wanting a small friendly clean site with picturesque views.

Pat was very welcoming on arrival. Found a great spot to pitch up. Showers and toilets clean and modern, plenty of hot water.

All the pitches pretty much overlook the fishing lake with unobstructed views. Mains to each pitch but the furthest ones would need a longer lead, no water on pitch so a trip to the shower block to fill up.

Fishing was £10 per day for 2 rods, plenty of decent size carp, low to mid 20ís. Didnít eat at the restaurant but was told by the regulars that it was good food and reasonable costs, thereís a pub dead opposite the site as well.

Stowmarket wasnít far away but a drive, we had bikes but felt that the road was a race track so wasnít used.

Visited Lavenham well worth the visit.

Overall was a nice stay with good facilities, will definitely go back next year.

Lovely site with a fishing lake, place to eat on site, pub just over the road.

Toilets/showers were good.

Children enjoyed the play area.

Short drive to shops

Friendly environment very welcoming and clean,

The ducklings even came over to say hi when we got to the site we were pitching our tent.

Even though the weather was not on our side it was a fantastic experience.

Would love to come back just for a weekend away where we can relax and enjoy the views of the lake and the nice and peaceful nature at.

Itís best

Great cafe next door and pub across the road.

Site is well kept and clean.

We had a lovely weekend and first time visit to this site. Plenty of space between grass pitches. Right on a fishing lake with mature trees and seating.

Children's play area and a new shower/toilet block - lovely warm shower. Separately owned cafe on site was a bonus, serving delicious food 9-3.

There is also a pub directly opposite that does a lovely Sunday roast !

The only downside we could find was there was a little bit of distant road noise and the hardstanding pitches just appeared to be the car park.

First time using the site. Love the location, close to Stowmarket and within easy reach of Ipswich & Bury St Edmunds.

A really well-maintained site with a lovely view of the lake from wherever you camp.

The recently renovated wash/shower facilities are really good & were regularly cleaned throughout our stay.

Great to have access to the cafe on site and the pub just opposite too.

Very friendly place to stay suitable for all types of visitors.

A warm welcome from the owners. Very helpful and even offered to help us set up.

We had an amazing view of the lake in front.

Toilet facilities are good and clean.

We will definitely come back again.

One bad point I would say is that the Elsan waste disposal point is not in the best of places. It would be better to have this around the back of the shower / toilet blocks.

The pub across the road is nice and the on-site cafe is great. Except you need to book as we couldnít get breakfasts as fully booked.

Apart from that a great place. Definitely recommend.

Our 3rd stay here. Very quiet and peaceful.

Owner is friendly and helpful.

Facilities are good. Not far from stowmarket and Stonham barns.

Cafe on site nice meals but quite expensive.

Overall enjoyable stay.
