Stayed for 1 night only en route back to UK from France.
It’s a lovely quiet site - very green and peaceful.
Mark and Mel are lovely hosts and I’d go as far to say, the best we’ve encountered after many years of camping.
Highly recommended.

Handy when arriving on the Cherbourg ferry. Just 40 minutes or so transfer time and the given directions were superb. Met with a warm welcome by Mel and Mark.
We enjoyed days out including Utah beach having visited the other four some years ago. The museum and that at Sainte Marie Eglise were well worth seeing. Had tasty lunch at Chez Jeanne.
Another day out to Barfleur to see the small but quaint harbour. Another good meal at Cafe de France.
Coutances and Port-Bail are not too far away.
The annual Foire de Lessay took place during our first weekend and we had a look on the Friday. It is supposed to be one of the largest of its kind in France, if not Europe, covering acres of land around the village. As well as market stalls, there are stands displaying agricultural equipment and machinery, a funfair, and on certain days livestock such as horses and cattle.
The downside of the site would be that the pitching area was surrounded by mature fruit and nut bearing trees and at this time of year we were chasing sunny spots to sit out on the fine days. Otherwise it is a secluded, peaceful location near to a small town with a good range of independent shops, supermarkets, as well as the Wednesday market. Quaint to hear Errol the cockerel each morning.

Excellent smallish site. Very peaceful, attractive and well run. Large pitches with adequate shade from fruit and walnut trees.
5 minutes drive to smart local town with bakers, shops and restaurants.
Superb uncrowded beaches within 10 to 20 minutes drive. Well priced for France.
English and French spoken by the owners.

This is a super site for visiting the many interesting towns, museums and, of course, beaches in this part of Normandy.
Very close to the Cherbourg ferry and an easy route to most other parts of France.
A small site with grass placements, clean facilities, hook up, and the ability to buy fresh eggs 😂 Run by a very nice English couple who will make you most welcome.

Fantastic site. Excellent location for exploring Normandy
Lovely and clean and quiet and safe.
The camp is small but it has clean toilets and warm showers. The only thing missing is a washing machine especially if staying a while.
Loved the chickens especially the wandering hen.

I've stayed at this site four times since 2012 Twice in the Git and twice camping. A tent on the first occasion and this time in our campervan. Nice level site with good facilities.
The local town (you can walk to it) is really nice. We were there for the 75th D-day celebration and it proved to be a good base to see the beaches and the landing sites for the 101st Airbourne.
The owners are brill, such a nice couple. The site is highly recommended.
