Open all year, this is a busy site, popular with European visitors during the summer months. However, there are good reasons to visit Abbey Wood throughout the year: the Christmas lights, January sales shopping and Eurostar cheap days from Waterloo to name but a few.

From E on M2/A2 or from Central London - on A2 turn off at A221 junc into Danson Rd (sp Bexleyheath, Intl Caravan & Camping Sign); follow sps Bexleyheath to Crook Log (A207 junc); at traffic Its turn R and immed L into Brampton Rd; in 1 1/2 m at traffic lights turn L into Bostal Hill (A206); in ūm at traffic lights turn R into Basildon Rd (B213); in 300yds turn R into McLeod Rd; in about 1/2 m at roundabout turn R into Knee Hill; in 100yds turn R (2nd R) into Federation Rd.
