The Carri Chef 50 BBQ Paella Pan QR comes with a ceramic coated BBQ Grid; perfect for grilling burgers, kebabs and vegetables. The popular Paella Pan 50 is also included, perfect for cooking virtually anything. Cook up anything from curries, pasta and risottos, to pancakes and fried eggs in a morning.
A removable pot stand is also included for use with your own kettle and pans or the optional Cadac Dometic Pizza Stone Pro 50, and the utility tray provides ample storage space for condiments and tools.
Optional accessories for the Carri Chef 50 BBQ Paella Pan QR also include the BBQ 2 Plancha 50, a half and half grill plate with grease drainage holes on the ribbed half. If you’re a fan of a Sunday Roast, the Roast Pan 50 is perfect for joints of meat and vegetable roasts. And for even easier clean up, the Soft Soak 50, is the ideal accessory.
The Carri Chef 50 BBQ Paella Pan QR barbecue will run off either Butane or Propane gas, which regulates between 28-30mBar (Butane) and 37mBar (Propane).
Easy to clean, simply wash the GreenGrill ceramic cooking surfaces in hot soapy water following use. The removable fat pan with flame ‘peep’ holes makes cleaning a breeze and includes a hook for attaching the dome lid to the back to act as a splashback and windshield. For quick and easy gas connection, the BBQ is completed by an integrated QR (quick release).

What Did we Think? Our Review
As someone who's spent more than a few years behind a BBQ, both at home and out camping, I can say the Carri Chef 50 BBQ Paella Pan QR is one of the more genuinely well thought-out bits of kit I’ve used. It’s not a gimmick; it’s a serious, do it all outdoor cooker that saves faff, hassle, and mess.
The included Paella Pan has stainless steel handles with silicone stay-cool grip, so removal is safe and easy. During use the Dome Lid fits flush with the Paella Pan 50, and the pan is incredibly versatile, from pancakes and paella to curries and casseroles!
The 47cm paella pan is bigger than it sounds - it's almost 1/2 meter wide. You can do a full English breakfast for a family of four on it easily. I’ve done stir-fry, pancakes, and a massive paella on it so far. No crowding or juggling things around like you get on smaller grills.
It features a non-stick coating that actually works. I was a bit unsure of the claims for the “GreenGrill” ceramic but it really does work. Nothing sticks, and it wipes clean with just a bit of kitchen roll if you’re in a rush. No need to soak or scrub. Just don’t go at it with metal utensils, treat it right, it’ll last.
It feels solid and well made and it’s not flimsy like some cheaper portable BBQs. The legs screw on firmly, it stands solid even on grass, and you can tell it’s designed for people who camp. If you prefer you can remove the lower part of the legs, and use it as a table top stove.
It comes with a proper carry bag, the lid’s got a thermometer built in, and the fat catcher underneath actually works.
It is easy to set up and pack away and the quick-release gas fitting (QR) is a smart touch, it simply clicks in, fires up straight away, no messing about. I’ve got it down to about 5–7 minutes from bag to bacon on the pan. Packing it away is just as smooth, and everything fits back in the carry case without wrestling.
Overall: If you enjoy proper meals when you’re out and about and don’t want to be faffing around with 3 different pans and half a camping stove—the Carri Chef 50 is a brilliant bit of kit. It’s quick to use, easy to clean, and actually enjoyable to cook on.
It’s not the cheapest, but it feels like something built to last. I’ve used a few cheaper brands over the years, and I always end up replacing them. This one, I’d happily wheel out for summer BBQs in the garden or a full week camping.
