Moelfryn is a small family run Park approximately 1000ft above sea level in a setting or outstanding natural beauty overlooking the valley of the River Teifi. This is an ideal location for exploring the Beauty of West Wales.
Enjoy the most spectacular views in the skies, sun rise/set over Moelfryn. During the summer months, you can also often see the mist lingering on the slopes of the valley - a truly magical sight!
We are situated between Carmarthen and Cardigan. Quaint town of Newcastle Emlyn is just three miles away. It is a lovely market town by the river with great pubs, cafes, resturaunts, various shops, numerous banks, three supermarkets etc.
You can explore and sample traditional Welsh foods and culture or just relax and have fun on some of our beautiful safe sandy beaches that line the western coast, which are just a 20-30 minute drive through wonderful Welsh countryside. Mwnt Beach is a beautiful safe sandy beach that acts as a real suntrap, where an increasing number of dolphins are regularly being seen. Poppit sands, Newquay and many more Beaches.
We have a level site with 25 grass pitches for all types of touring units, tents, caravans, motor-homes and trailer tents. Some shade, a few hard standing pitches and also serviced pitches available.

Nearby Attractions
There's an array of historic ruined castles to explore, including Carmarthen Castle (built in 1105), and Laugharne Castle, situated on the Taf River estuary. There are even remains of a castle in Newcastle Emlyn, which was blown up during the Civil War.
As the area is so scenic, it is a haven for wildlife, with numerous Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Buzzards frequently fly overhead, the Red Kite has found its way back to Carmarthenshire and over Moelfryn.
Other places of interest and attraction are the National Botanic Gardens, Ffos Las Racing Course(New), Aberglasney(enchanting and mysterious gardens),Oakwood, Pony trekking, Angling (game/coarse/sea), Open Canoe trips, Iron Age Fort, Coastal path, Cheese Farms, Welsh chocolate Farm and many more.
Take the A484 from Carmarthen to Cynwyl Elfed. Pass the Blue Bell Inn on your right - take left fork approx 200yds onto B4333 towards Hermon. Keep on this road for 7 miles. As you start winding down the hill you will see a brown sign with 1/4 mile on your left. Take this turn on your left and we are 1/4 mile on your right.
