By car: take the A593 from Ambleside, turn left at Clappersgate onto the B5286. Turn left at the sign for Wray. The site is less than one mile on the left.
Boat launch and Bus service 525 - Low Wray campsite-Wray Castle - Hawkshead-Hill Top - Ferry house
Wray Castle (National Trust) is right next door to the campsite and Ambleside and Hawkshead are just a few minutes drive away. Hill Top and the Beatrix Potter Gallery (both National Trust) are also close by.
