Lovely welcome.
Clean and warm facilities.
Lots of banging noise from nearby businesses, but did eventually become less aware.
Unless you have a car or want to take your van off site you have to be self sufficient as no take out deliveries to site.
Would stay there again

Have enjoyed staying here several times recently. Excellent club site with friendly and helpful staff. Offered a choice of pitches on arrival as did other people on arrival.
Very good clean facilities. Replacement calor gas cylinders are available to purchase.
Nearby Boroughbridge town is a five minute drive away. Street parking is operated by a local disc system but there is a good sized free car park with toilets and a honesty donation box.
The town centre is well worth a visit with the excellent Appletons butchers at the top of the Main Street in St James Square where you will also find a lovely seating area. There are several excellent cafes which are all very worthwhile visiting especially the ‘Dining Room’ with its lovely rear garden patio area.
Can only agree that a visit to the Crown Inn in the nearby picturesque Roecliffe village is very worth a visit, not to be confused with the Crown Hotel which is In Boroughbridge itself but still worth a visit.
This site and area is definitely recommended to visit and we ARE going back next month!

Our second visit here. Handy just off the motorway and nice break to continue home up north.
Well kept site with spotless facilities. Staff lovely and helpful.
Nice off lead fenced area for dog but also nice walks on site. Just a shame when we were there not everyone was picking up after their dogs.
Lovely coffee shops in the wee town.
Went along to the Crown Inn twice for a meal. Recommend you go both times were delicious.
Bus stop just at site entrance. Husband enjoyed his bike ride on the quiet country roads

Overnight stop en-route to Dunbar C&CC in Scotland.
Helpful staff and the facilities were well-kept.
Good grassy dog walks and there is a play area with some equipment for children.
Would definitely recommend and also to return.

A friendly welcome as you'd expect. We were given a lovely pitch overlooking the river/canal. Supermarket a 10 minute cycle away, fuel there too.
We went to see some Roman ruins nearby, but the place was locked up. This despite Google saying it was open. Instead we went a little bit further and visited St Andrews church, which was very interesting. They have a great display inside detailing the fascinating history of the church.
We also visited The Crown Inn nearby, on the recommendation of the campsite warden, and had a lovely meal.
This was our second visit to the site, and we will return to explore more.

Been a couple of years since we were here last and not much has changed. The toilets were spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful. We were given a choice of pitches and chose one in the middle of the first field close to the facilities.
Depending on your mobility, Boroughbridge is a 20 to 30 minute walk from the campsite. It's got plenty of coffee shops and a few independents. You can get buses to York, Ripon and Knaresborough from the centre.
In the opposite direction from the campsite is the picture postcard village of Roecliffe, about a ten minute walk, and the pub there has reopened.
We parked in Knaresborough as parking for the day is £2. 10 and you can easily get a bus to Harrogate from there.
The television signal is very good on site and we found the mobile signal to be excellent.

Couldn’t be better located for A1 motorway access, and the local town with a supermarket is just a ten minute drive away.
The usual C&CC friendly and helpful welcome from wardens, and a speedy check-in.
An open and well maintained site with plenty of space between pitches.
Steep steps over the flood defence(?) to the spotless facilities, but with ramps providing easy disabled access.
Will definitely use this site again as a stopover but will hopefully find time to explore the town and local area next time.

Easy access, lovely big fields with choice of grass or hardstanding and with or without electric.
Could do with more water points or more central location, facilities spotless but showers far too small, no bench just loose stool in each and push button every 10 seconds to keep water flowing.
Local town of Boroughbridge is 0. 9 miles away, we are not fast walkers and it took us 25 minutes in searing heat.
There are 2 butchers, a bakery/sandwich shop, 2 cafes, very small with couple of tables on pavement, a Spar, a couple of home interior/gift shops and a hardware shop.
On the way you pass 3 standing stones (the Devils arrows) dating back to 2700BC.
Bus from gate but only 3 per day so check your timings.

Easy access just off motorway. Lovely quiet site. Brilliant dog walk and off lead field too.
Nice big pitches and spotless facilities.
Nice walk into town where there are some lovely cafe’s, bakers, butchers etc.
Easy access to near by places of interest and short drive to York.
Bus stop right at he site entrance.
Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem for them.
We enjoyed it so much we booked for next year.
And of course the lovely Molly always made me smile.

Great offer, 25% discount on four nights mid week.
Great location easy walk into town which is lovely with lots of good cafes and pubs, nice selection of shops.
Great wardens very helpful, all facilities are kept very clean
One of the best motorhome service points we have seen
Good range of pitch, grass, gravel hardstanding and concrete hardstanding which is what we had.
Lovely pitch overlooking the river lots of birds to watch and we even had a ferret on our pitch!

Another visit to Boroughbridge, , our 3rd of the year. I doubt if it will be the last visit of the year as it is so handy for York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon.
We chose a grass pitch this time as it’s nice and easy to put in the pegs for the awning. It may be an idea to have some chocks for these pitches as some of them are not quite level – nothing too much- but they may help.
We think that we have tried all the small coffee shops now in Boroughbridge and like them all.
There is a pub in Marton/Grafton, which is not very far away, that does excellent food. It’s the only one in the village.
It’s also one of the places to eat on the list at the site. Can’t comment on the beer as I didn’t try it because I was driving. It seems to have limited opening hours so may be worth a phone call before making the journey.

This was the second time I have stayed on this site this year and it never fails to impress me.
The wardens are friendly and very helpful and the site is very clean and tidy.
It has all you could want for a very pleasant stay.
I have a dog and the site has an enclosed and secure field to exercise my dog in.
I would recommend this site to all.

A pleasant campsite to stay in.
Clean facilities with toilet roll and soap provided, warm showers and even a hairdryer in the ladies.
Although these get closed for cleaning between 10. 30am and 12 everyday this isn't a problem as the family room is made available and we spent the day out so had left the premises by then.
The codes gates provides an extra feel of security and we were lucky enough to pitch on a flat surface opposite the park so we could keep an eye on the children from the tent. This did then mean it was a bit more of a trek to the toilets in the night though.
The staff were also really friendly and we'll definitely be wanting to return.
