Well manicured small site surrounded by green hills.

Country roads to get there, but we managed in our 7. 5 metre motorhome, very slight buzz of traffic from the M6. No emptying point for the motorhome.

Two toilets and one shower, all in separate rooms, unisex which have been upgraded since our last visit, the shower is like a wet room but we struggled to get it to the correct temperature and the room wasn't heated although it did have a radiator there.

Fantastic views, about a 20 minute walk into Halton that has a chip shop, not sure if there's a pub there but if you'll be walking back in the dark take a torch.

We emailed the site about availability but they didn't respond, you can however book online and it's £32 per night.

Only stayed one night on our way to an appointment.

Excellent facilities, massive pitch (number 2), with hook up and water tap. The shower was very good and very clean.

The washing up area was very good, too.

The weather wasn't very good, but before the rain came the view was excellent.

We had stayed many years ago. It was a good site then and it is even better now.

 Lovely stay.

Owners are to introduce themselves which was appreciated.

Clean site and clean facilities. Great stay and would return again.

An on shop site would be a bonus as its out of the way if no car but that's being picky

Lovely, small & well maintained site with large flat pitches and lovely views.

Owners met us after we'd arrived to share information about the site and point out the facilities.

Bit off the beaten track for using the bus but means its very quiet apart from the dawn chorus!

In easy reach of Carnforth, Lancaster, the coast or the Lakes. We went into Carnforth to visit the station and a great bookshop. There are local walks too, along the canal to see the Lune aqueduct.

Would definitely go again but not try to use the bus!

Lovely site with great views. All facilities: shower, toilets, dish wash area were immaculate. The owners and family are very friendly and welcoming.

We travelled from the south and followed their advice to come off at J35 of the M6 not J34. Good advice as the road from J34 can get very narrow with few passing places.

Well maintained site and level hard standing. Drove into Halton, late afternoon for an excellent walk along the side of the river Lune (great cycle path).

Then had a meal in the Greyhound - great service and food. Kids menu chicken nuggets were actual pieces of chicken fried in batter rather than processed meat.

We also spent the next day in Morecombe and had a great time walking along the front. (The views over the bay to the Lakes is phenomenal and lots of kiddies play areas).

This small farm site is run by a genuine, friendly, helpful middle aged couple on a hill side above Lancaster and the Lune valley with great views.

There's two toilet cubicles and a shower which are spotless and recently built.

Their booking arrangements are really well organized and communication is great.

You'd be best to heed their email advising you to use junction 35 and not 34 if using the M6 due to the narrow road through Halton.

Beautifully cared for site, with lovely, friendly welcome.

Owners could not be nicer or more helpful.

Wonderfully quiet.

Just a one night stay for us but will definitely return.

What a little gem, a basic but clean site and facilities. lovely owners,

But the view OMG the view covers all of Morecombe Bay and in into the lakeland fells outstanding,

The village of Halton inst to far and has a range of shops, we ventured out, the Bay less than 10 minutes drive with supermarkets,

We will definitely be visiting again later in the year
