 Outstanding. From the warm welcome to the facilities provided to the location.
Would definitely recommend.
The beach is handy for swimming, ambling and attempting to work out what those flying fish are about.

This was our second visit and we found both times the wardens to be very helpful and friendly.
The site is well looked after and the toilet facilities first class.
We will return.

Great friendly site. Well maintained toilets. Pitches are generously spaced.
Helpful wardens on arrival. Communication post booking and prior to arrival was good and instructions clear. Location is good only 5 minutes walk to the beach on the quiet side of the island.
Little bit remote and limited options for shops and eateries as a result, but facilities (shop and pub) are available within walking distance.

Lovely site, friendly wardens, clean toilets just a shame the showers are closed, don’t really understand why as other campsites seem to manage with Covid-19 restrictions.
Short walk to the sea & a local pub.
The lady in reception is a bit grumpy so best avoid her! & it was quite noisy one evening, one caravan playing loud music & shouting until 2 am but the wardens didn’t do anything about it unfortunately.
But otherwise a good site in a lovely location lots of touring caravans with permanent pitches,
Nice playground for children & pitch sizes quite generous

We did a quick one-nighter here and was very pleasantly surprised -
A lovely quiet location perfect for walking the dog, perfectly managed pitches and facilities.
Will definitely be back again in the future.

Great campsite facilities are clean the wardens are really helpful would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in Mersea.
Great park for the children to play in also due to circumstances the distance between tents was good.
It is only a short walk to the beach and you can go along the coast for ten minutes and be at cudmore grove great picnic site.

Just got back from a weekend away at Fen Farm we had a fantastic time.
Site is so lovely, extremely clean and well looked after.
Wardens are friendly and helpful.
Kids loved the park we will definitely book again, thank you 😊

Excellently run: friendly staff, clean facilities, clear signage and impeccably kept camping areas.
Near the beach with good pathways and signage. Includes a dog wash area (!) and a laundry room. They even emailed us with Covid policy and tide times, incredibly helpful. Couldn't ask for more, and very reasonably priced.
We'll definitely be back.

This site is very good and facilities are always kept clean.
Good walking distance to a pub.
The warden was very helpful as we needed an extension lead for electric hook up.

Excellent site, lovely greeting from John the Warden.
Facilities immaculate. We were only there for 1 night so didn’t experience everything, but access to the beach was great -

We were greeted very cordially and had all the regulations re Covid explained without fuss. Much evidence of thorough cleaning in washrooms and communal areas.
The pitches were spacious and even on Friday evening when the weekenders with young families arrived there was still no noise after the curfew.
Good location for walking all the way to West Mersea. No camp shop but the campsite next door allowed us to buy items (but not alcohol as it had to be consumed on their site!).
Despite Fen Farm being a very large site the individual field areas made it seem more convivial.

Welcomed by a lovely warden who explained where everything was and how to get to places from the site was shown my pitch. And with my electric cord not being long enough was given one to loan which was lovely of them.
The toilet and shower facilities were spotless along with the other on site facilities. There’s a small park area with sanitizer available a little shop at the site next door and a short walk to the beach. Plenty of space for my girls to run around.
I would personally recommend this site to all friends and family couldn’t fault it. My youngest was sad to leave as was our first getaway since the pandemic.
Had no worries while there and would return next year

This was our second visit to Fen Farm. We liked the layout (v spacious) the fact that it is generally quiet. Easy access to the beach via a footpath.
Easy access to the local pub also via a private path. Walking distance to a country park with great facilities for children. Good facilities on site which are regularly cleaned.
Plenty of taps and electric hook up points and helpful staff on site.
Will definitely come back again.
