Lovely, friendly, family run campsite.
Small on-site shop containing essentials.
Toilet and shower block very clean.
Great location - bus stop right outside for those not wanting to drive anywhere. Highly recommended.
Can't wait to get back there in June.

Very good location with a bus stop outside the site or 20 minute walk into Pevensy bay.
Also a nice walk to Pevensy castle. Eastbourne Marina nearby also but a bit further the other way.
Toilet block was clean but needs updating. Shower was nice and hot.
Very laid back and pleasant staff.
Will book again.

What a great site near the East Sussex coast, with everything you could want for a relaxing stay.
The pitches were level and spacious and, although clearly popular, the site felt well-spaced and quiet.
The ablution block was clean and with plenty of facilities to ensure no waiting was necessary.
Tom B was very welcoming and ensured we settled in well. He was also informative about the area and told us about some local places to visit.
Thank you, Tom. We'll definitely be back!

We went in early sept and was v quiet, ask for pitch away from main road.

Great location to visit the coast near Eastbourne and Hastings. The pole clips on our awning broke and the site owners were immediately kind and helpful - improvising with some hose clips. Car boot nearby and walk to Pevensey castle are a bonus.
Facilities are good for seasonal grass site. Showers, washing up water and most fantastically electric - all at a reasonable price.
Nothing special for children except the great outdoors, but they are well tolerated - as are dogs - and clear signs everywhere to slow down in case they are playing.
Bad points?. Nothing!

We had a lovely stay - friendly welcome, minimal admin, plenty of space in the tent field even though they were fully booked, and above all a really friendly vibe all round.
Easy 10-minute walk to the beach and bus stop right outside straight into town (check the time of the last bus back!)
Hope to visit again soon.

The owners were welcoming, friendly and caring. They asked us a couple of times if we were enjoying ourselves when we saw them over our stay as it was our first visit. They also allow visitors to share the fun for a small fee.
The beach is fairly close - great walk to the pub to people watch :-)
This site is great for peace and quite, child friendly and with places to explore on foot if you like walking, shops are nearby.
Big plus is this site is not regimented like other sites, lots of space to spread out. We will certainly be going back again :-)

Excellent location, Tom always helpful.
Toilets and showers spotlessly clean.
We have been several times over the summer as so close to home.
Easy to catch bus into Eastbourne and walk to Pevensey Bay

Reasonably quiet. Good location for Hastings, Battle and Eastbourne. Close to local shops and bigger shops (1mile either way) and good pub, also close to beach.
No litter, good space between pitches.
Shower and toilets clean, though not many of them so could be a queue on busier days.
A basic clean site, with few amenities but that can be a good thing.

Absolutely fab campsite, showers and toilets always clean, need updating but very clean always and efficient,
Felt safe letting the kids out to play without a constant watch,
Had an issue with the length of the electric cable as the socket was so far away, but they lent us a cable and no quibbles asked.
Fab campsite would highly recommend.
