Where do I start? well when we arrived there the owner was a lovely man which is always a bonus. It has a good toilet block, nice and clean. The site locked with a security gate too, however during our stay we found this never to be so again, so much for locked security! The site looked lovely when we first drove on BUT we were in the next lane and it was like Shanty Town in fact my husband said it looked like a scrap yard!, old seasonal caravans parked there, we were in-between them and when they were occupied on the weekend we had children running all over the place also no room at all for privacy not any real room to sit out or park the car as the caravans are parked so close together.

There is nothing here for young children to do, no play area, no bikes and no ball games :( we have dogs and there is no dog walk however you can take them onto the tent field but not really good if you are the people in the tents! Personally I would not go here again with a caravan but I do think that this site is ok on the tenting side. Too small pitches for caravans and also very tight to turn into the pitches. A shame really as it is a tidy campsite with a lovely owner.

What a fab site this is, we were on a spacious pitch with its own drainage point. The site was lovely and quiet with only the sounds of the countryside. There is easy access from the A55 which is only a short drive away (but far enough not to cause a noise problem).

The owner is very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The whole site is well kept and very clean. Security is good too. There are some local shops a short drive into Dyserth (you will also find a waterfall here) There is a pretty decent Indian Takeaway in Dyserth too. Slightly further away (approx 10-15min drive) there is plenty of choice of shops (Prestatyn has a good little shopping area where you will find Tesco, Next etc) If you have a dog there are plenty of local walks and beaches that are dog friendly. Really loved it here (and believe me I am fussy) and will definitely be going back. Oh and the season is a long one - open March to mid January so great for winter touring too.

Stayed here in September. When you arrive the site appears to be very well kept. But we were shown to an area in the middle row supposedly a 'super' pitch which we had paid a higher price for. The road was very unkempt with potholes and loose stones, and the turning point was very tight, you where put in the middle of seasonal caravans, and you are all very cramped together. People came for the weekend and where very noisy and the children where running wild over everyone's pitch, there was loud music from the car radio just left on. Drainage was just a small 1' hole in the ground, it was very cramped together. There were old scruffy caravans mixed in, they had gone green with mold and age. The site is very badly lit, and you need a torch to walk the long way to the toilet, which too far if you have walking difficulties or are disabled, (which I am). There are no play areas for the children, and no area for dog walking or exercise. A nasty little note in the bin area about recycling threatening to charge you £5 per item. The rest of the area was ok. I will not be returning here or recommending to to any of my friends. We were so disappointing we left a day early, even though we had paid for that day we didn't want to stay any longer

Great campsite with Individual parking bays. On arrival we were made very welcome even though we were in a converted Army truck. Excellent facilities, toilets and showers immaculate. The owner Graham was a great friendly guy who couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. The site was easy to get to, very well laid out with superb views. Lovely countryside for walking and cycling. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

The campsite was very easy to find off the motorway and upon arrival we met the owner who was very friendly and welcoming, so much that my fiancé Daz enjoyed a good banter with him. The site is lovely with great views, very clean toilet/shower block at all times and very clean and tidy overall. There are shops only a short drive away but wasn't a necessity for us as we had everything we needed. There's a farm next door which was great as it was lovely listening to their animals in the morning as it made it that extra special and relaxing being in the countryside.

Out of all the campsites we've been to. Which have been quite a lot. This has been one of the best ones that we have visited and we will most definitely be returning again very soon!

Many thanks to Graham. The owner! :-)

We had a seasonal pitch at this site for a number of years. The site is in a lovely location, with very nice facilities and at first there were no problems.

However we soon discovered the real truth about the site.

We never gave one problem in the time we were there.

Customer service and the fact we were paying to be there seemed to be forgotten. For instance If a little bit of water was leaking it was a big problem.

Also large motorhomes were parked very close to us and on busy occasions tents were pitched extremely close by, in breach of Fire Safety regulations. For the Motorhomes this was not on a pitch just on one of the site tracks when previously we were told nothing would ever be put.

The site also has had a number of travellers staying over a period of time which has led to a number of incidents.

Lastly the site has had a very high turnover of people on the seasonal pitches, which I think speaks for itself.

Arrived at the site at mid-day and reported to reception where it was manned by a young girl. We had pre-booked 6 weeks prior to visit yet she couldn't find us on the system but eventually located us and said booked for 3 nights when we had pre-booked for 4 no problem she said but I don't know where I am going to put you. Eventually she put us among caravans that are permanently sited and as these vans never move it was very difficult to manoeuvre onto the pitch due to the narrow lane between vans. I had paid for a fully serviced pitch but could find no waste water drain and on asking I Was told it was there if I only looked and eventually found a hole one inch in diameter not at all satisfactory The rest of the facilities I had to search for as no help was given.

The showers were clean and bright but there was no place to put toiletries or clothes as the cubicle did not have a seat and just one hook to hang clothes and a wet towel and the duration of each push of the shower button was approx. 20 seconds which is totally inadequate. There are 5 wash basins but again only 3 hooks to hang a towel or clothing making it awkward for more than 3 people to wash at the same time.

One last comment in the recycling area there are several bins for rubbish and a very threatening notice saying 'anybody putting the wrong rubbish in a bin will be fined £5 per item and no exceptions' not a very nice way to treat people and what does the owner do each day, go through every individual bag looking to see who he can find to punish! The mind boggles.

I feel that this is not a tourer site as it seems to be mainly

Resident caravans and lacks the fun of a holiday site in all very disappointed and will not be returning.

Great campsite, stayed at the end of August. Facilities were some of the best I've seen on a site, very clean toilets and excellent (Free) showers.

The site is situated off a quiet road and the views are spectacular. Was busy when we arrived on the Friday but most packed up on Saturday morning freeing up more space for kids to play. There is no playground etc so take a football & a kite and my three were more than happy.

There are some wonderful walks to be had but not advisable with young children as you are walking on the road and we thought it was a bit hazardous. Shops are a 5 min drive away.

Will be visiting again soon

We have visited this camp site a few times before so know it well. We came mid week and the site was quiet with only an average of 4 tents including ourselves. The toilets have had slight improvements now having paper in each toilet cubicle. We also see that there is now a freezer available for ice packs which is free and located in the waste bin area.

The general area has some good locations to visit and some wonderful scenery as well. We would recommend this site but we know it can get busy at weekends and bank holidays.

We visited this site for the first time for a long weekend. A family of five adults (one oap), one teenager and one child. The site was lovely and clean, with a spacious rally field.

The toilets and showers were immaculate (I'm very fussy about showers) and seemed to be newly built/refurbished.

Lovely helpful staff and were seen 'out and about' all weekend.

Surrounding were lovely, countryside location, off a quiet road and fresh eggs available from the nearby farm.

Nothing on the site for children (a football soon sorted that though).

Had a fab weekend and will definitely be visiting again in the future.
