Incredibly clean and well-kept. A couple of suggestions:
1. I was walking east to west, and I saw the sign directing me to the campsite.
There was no mowed path, and it was getting dark, so I ended up walking around the entire building complex, including the private residences. The lack of a mowed path was not very welcoming.
2. Since I didn't arrive the 'proper' way, I found getting out the next morning as quite confusing, too. Again, a mowed path from the Hadrian's Wall Path leading to the campground would be quite nice.
3. I needed to charge my phone. I never found any place for a charge. This was quite surprising.
I hope these points are helpful.

Great little site right on the Hadrians Wall path.
Separate hikers field and facility for charging electronic devices - a great help when trekking!
Would definitely recommend.

Lovely small site but perfectly laid out.
Lovely owners very friendly called round for a chat when they had time.
Lovely quiet site apart from the noise of of a working farm but not a problem,
Lovely area not far away from lots of places to see,
Lovely facilities small but fine for the size of the campsite.

I love this campsite! I stopped at Bleatarn on my first night of hiking Hadrians Wall. It is right on the path has excellent facilities and also has takeaway menus for you to order food!
The showers were great, especially after a 24 mile hike, and I was also able to recharge my power pack.
The pitch area for the tents is flat and on its own little area away from the camper vans which I liked.
I am hiking Hadrians wall again in May 2025 and I will be staying here once again.

Lovely and quiet. Facilities, although, limited were very clean.
The owners were very helpful and friendly.
The pitches were all hard standing and very well maintained.
Ideally situated for walks on Hadrians Wall and Carlisle itself

Located just 5mins off the Hadrian's Wall Path, it's an amazing option to pitch up during the hike.
Well maintained and with all the facilities needed.
Additional bonus for the shower block being so cosy and warm - makes you don't want to leave it when you wake up in the middle of the night for a quick wee when it's cold outside!

Arriving into Bleatarn farm after awful weather hiking was like finding an oasis in a desert. A lovely warm welcome from Andrew and an absolute gentleman.
The site was meticulously well maintained and easy to find from Hadrians Wall(it’s pretty much part of the route).
The shower block and washrooms were immaculately maintained and clear. The team even offer a hairdryer! Only improvement on this amazing place I could suggest is the addition of a small drying room, nothing huge just a little area for hiking to dry gear.
A real gem on Hadrians Wall run by a lovely chap.

Blea Tarn have it just right - clean basic facilities, views, peace and quiet.
Simplicity is the key for us.
So many campsites are being ruined with the addition of pods, glamping, yurts etc.

Me and my friends were hiking Hadrian's wall with backpacks and we stayed here for one night.
The people there were so nice and really helpful,
The facilities were some of the nicest we encountered along the way, and we loved meeting Tweed the dog.

Very well organised campsite and friendly owner. Very convenient for hadrian's wall. Well priced. Nice facilities.
I think site can get busy unexpectedly so you may have to be patient with showers.
Nice shared phone charging thing. Picnic tables.
We cooked our own food. We were on foot and not sure there was much close by.

Our stay went well,
The welcome is warm and the place spacious, clean and quiet.
Two clean showers, two toilets and two sinks. Something to do the dishes in the shelter.
---------
Notre séjour s’est bien passé, l’accueil est chaleureux et l’endroit spacieux, propre et silencieux. Deux douches, deux toilettes et deux éviers propres. De quoi faire la vaisselle a l’abri.
