Loved this campsite. Clean, with all the facilities you need when thinking about bringing young children. By room to help night time routine. Clean area.
Clean toilets and wash facilities.
Wonderful huge park for young kids be rug near by along with leisure centre with pool.
Local places to visit include ash down forest, Tunbridge well where we got a steam train.
My boy loved it.
Would definitely come again.

St Ives is a campsite of two halves:,
During the week its tranquil, immersive in nature, peaceful and surrounded by breathtaking countryside. You will feel transported out of the everyday noise and stimulus into a haven of wellbeing.
You will literally feel the inhale but more importantly exhale from our busy lives.
It's a good size campsite with a variety of spaces for tents. Choice of being beside the small fishing lake, sitting by colourful linseed fields, trees or the view of the burnt ombre of hay-bales across the varying shades of green fields to the blue skies.
It sounds romantic and it is, but equally adept in catering for families with young and older children, groups of all kind.
The second halve is at weekends when it has more of a party vibe. This is not created through loud music but the energy from the Urbanites with their on trend convoy of co-ordinated VW campervans, strawhats and bunting. The clink of the champagne glasses and the hazy dizziness of the bohemian dress code.
Its a community feel where on talking to David the owner you feel part of a collective to take care of this environment. Everyday David will come round and have a chat, drop wood for the camp fires.
Lots of individual, clean mobile toilets, scattered around the site and a couple of shower blocks and washing facilities. The emphasise is on experience in nature, taking in the good and appreciating this magical place.

Stayed at St Ives campsite whilst backpacking a section of the High Wield Landscape Trail.
Beautiful campsite with lovely lake in the middle. Lots of options as far as where to pitch the tent.
Quiet and friendly site, felt very relaxed and homely. David replied to any questions I had really promptly via email and was a pleasure to deal with.
Facilities quite basic but everything you need and kept very clean.
Overall lovely stay and would highly recommend for a little escape.

My husband and I stayed there for a couple of nights with our young baby. It was quiet and a beautiful landscape.
We loved it as we just wanted a couple of nights to escape from our busy life. St Ives farm did just that.
There are plenty of pleasant walks near the site a fishing lake and a short journey to ashdown.
David came by to greet us and he was friendly and informative.

I've been enjoying St Ives Farm for a number of years now, I'm familiar with the area and it still does not disappoint.
The host is very attentive and calm, and I believe this is a key factor to the sites success.

I have used this site over a number of years for my Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
The site is like a little piece of paradise.
A beautiful lake and open views that make you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, rather than a short distance from the M25.
The washing facilities are basic but acceptable with plenty of hot water.
I love this site and will be returning.

Quiet, secluded site in beautiful countryside setting. 1 hr walk from Hartfield and Winnie the Pooh Country /Ashdown Forest.
Very generous pitches with a fire pit on each. Some pitches a bit bumpy but there's usually a flat area somewhere in each.
A portaloo is located near the pitches with a larger toilet block/shower a short walk away in the caravan field. Pitches encircle a fishing lake.
Facilities are basic and could do with an upgrade but they met our needs.
Owner drives by each pitch each evening selling fire wood if required.
If it's simple, quiet camping you want, this is the place for you.

Beautiful location and setting. Lots of lovely walks and quaint shops.
The biggest downfall for us was the facilities, two toilets and one shower in an old shipping container. One for male, one for females. Lots of portaloos around. No electric hookups either. Expensive camping for a field.
The owner drives around between 5 and 6 selling wood for fires, laid back and relaxed approach.
I wouldn’t return based on the facilities.

Nice family friendly campsite.
The owner was very nice and for first time ever (we have been camping very often through the season for many years now), we were not rushed to leave before noon.
We will definitely come back and I highly recommend this campsite to everyone.

We were a school DofE group, the campsite was situated in a lovely setting, with ample choice of camping areas.
A very relaxing peaceful spot even with a group.
Facilities were very clean.

Beautiful location. Stayed as three families. Site is very simple in its amenities but fine for what we needed.
Plenty of space for pitching, everyone seemed to space apart nicely.
Fires and music allowed. Children loved it.
Took a nice walk to Hartfield through fields and woodlands.
Owner very nice and helpful. Will 100% be returning.
