This has been our 5th year at meadow farm even though the weather was to say the least a bit wet and windy we never fail to enjoy our stay their and would recommend it just for the views and the hospitality from Vicky&Bob. Toilets are always clean hot water on tap, easy access in to Tenby what more can we say we look forward to next years stay

The site has great views over Tenby and is within easy walking distance of the town and its attractions.

The owners were friendly and helpful throughout four night stay.

The downsides are the toilet and shower block which is antiquated and needs replacing. The tariff of 17 per night seemed a little expensive considering the lack of facilities.

This was our first camping trip. The views from this site are outstanding. The location of this site to tenby town is superb, even though uphill on the way back. The only down side to this site is the toilet/shower block, showers were cold, and not much more than a drip. Friendly and helpful owners, froze ice blocks for us, pitch was clean, spacious and quite for June. If you don't mind a cold drip of a shower thoroughly recommend.

Want to know a secret? We have just stayed at the most beautiful and convenient campsite in Tenby. Meadow farm has the most breathtaking views of the town and Caldey Island and is only 10 minutes walk from Tudor Square.

Owners Vicky and Bob (that's no rush Bob to you and me) are wonderful hosts and make you feel more than welcome with loads of local knowledge and lots of laughs. There is no bar, no playground for the kids, no amusements. Bliss!

The facilities however do include a toilet and shower block and well that's it really. These are more than adequate although Pembrokeshire council due to improve them to a higher standard. Our pitch had electric hook up and all for 17.00 a night for two adults. Hospitality at no extra charge!

If you love Tenby, like we do, and are looking to stay in a little piece of paradise then this is it.

Oh and just a couple of other pieces of local knowledge we knew already. The best restaurant in Tenby is the Plantagenet House, run by Barney and his excellent staff and if you just want a snack try the Cafe Vista in Crackwell Street. You can sit on the balcony overlooking the harbour.

We stayed for a week in August 2008 and it must have been the wettest week on record - it didn't stop. Not good for the wife and kid's first taste of camping!

Site is situated above Tenby with stunning views over the sea and out to Caldey, especially at sunset. It consists of one small and one larger field. We pitched our tent in the larger one which has a bit of a slope. The pitches are round the edge of the field, are more than big enough for a large family tent and there is plenty of room for kids to run about.
Our kids loved the horses in the adjacent paddock as well and the abundant wildlife including the owl that kept us up several nights listening to him complaining about the rain from the tree above our tent. The campsite itself was normally quiet by 10pm so very child friendly.

Facilities are basic, 3 WCs, 2 basins and a shower each side, and no real washing up area. They were cleaned regularly and any problems were quickly sorted. Site owner was extremely helpful with things like milk and freezing cool packs etc as well as info on the local area.

Tenby is a 10 minute stroll down hill and a slog back up, with all the expected facilities and amenities of a seaside town. We found plenty to do in the area and would certainly consider going back. I am sure that had we had good weather, it would have been absolutely stunning but 7 days of constant rain does put a dampner on things eventually!

Just returned from 10 days at Meadow Farm. What a fantastic place! Vicky, the owner, was incredibly helpful and always chirpy. The weather was very unkind but the views across Tenby town and harbour made it all worthwhile.

Toilet block and showers always clean. The walk into Tenby was easy. Took about 10 mins meaning that there were no car parking issues. As the site is alongside the Pembrokeshire national Park path a walk to Saundersfoot is possible - took about 2 hours but was breathtakingly beautiful. This site is highly recommended.

After reading the reviews we decided that yes the facilities didn't sound too wonderful, but we couldn't get any closer to Tenby if we tried so we booked a week with electrics. At first we were happy enough as the sites positioning was out of this world, with views looking straight over Tenby harbour.

The penny dropped (excuse the pun!) when after our first day there, when the ladies three toilets were now two, as the flush handle had snapped off! Well not to worry I thought ,someone will fix it, now to have a shower. Small, dirty and no water pressure, hence no water. The washing up facilities, a tap right outside the toilets about 12inches off the floor. Well to top it all, on day three another loo handle had snapped off, leaving a site of women and many small children with one toilet and two rather smelly broken ones. As a plumbers wife I personally would of had a go at mending them, how difficult and expensive can it be? I'm sure one days camping fee would of paid for it.

And so it goes folks, a potentially fantastic site with breath taking views is spoilt by facilities

Just got back from 5 nights camping here. Had a great pitch overlooking Tenby bay and the horses in the field. Pitches are on the outskirts of the field so the kids can play in the middle. All quiet by 10.30pm ish so good for families with young kids. Ten mins to beach and 20mins to town downhill, bit longer on the way back!

This is a small casual campsite with a great view, the only downside are the facilites which are basic and old, and could do with cleaning more than once a day. Saying that, the view and laid-back approach makes up for it so we'll be back!

We have visited this site twice now, mainly for the views which are just breath taking.

The first time we visited was our first camping holiday and I would suggest this site as is basic but is all you need to start you off.

The owners are really lovely and you can buy eggs from them as is a small family farm/ campsite.

Will be going no where but to this site every time we go to tenby

I found this with google & it has a certain style.

We went for 3 nights & paid 14 per night which didn't seem unreasonable. Arriving Friday afternoon in sunshine the view over Tenby was as good as you could find. There were a few hook-ups available, mainly taken by families. We went a bit further away and found many fairly level pitches. The ground is fantastic for pegging.

The site facilities are limited 3 x WCs + 1 shower, 2 sinks in each side & no washing-up area but they were clean. Plenty of hot water.

There is a short walk of about 300m down to the main promenade, shops, cinema etc. A slight deviation to the right brings you to Molly's Cafe for breakfast.

We were surprised that the site wasn't fuller as the weather forecast was fine.

If you enjoy camping you'll like it here. We're going back!
