We have just spent a weekend here. The site itself was good, with a large area for the kids to play and ride the go-karts which came in handy as we were pitched right up the end of the field so getting a double kart meant that we could ferry people down to the toilets!
The showers cost 20p but the five minutes seemed to last for ages - maybe they are on different time scales on this site cos it takes longer to walk to the different things e.g. Beach or pub than the times that were quoted!

The facilities were very basic, I don't think I could stay here for a whole week but the weekend was fine. The only scary moment was when the horses decided to run up the field and it did not look like they would stop!

Lovely site. Basically a very long field with first 20 pitches on either side electric (these book up quickly). Other 30 pitches are non hook up. Lots of grass for the children to ride bikes etc. You can see the loos from all pitches. 20p's need for a long 5 minute shower and 10's for washing up. No trees for shade but the hedge surrounding the field  is over 10ft tall so you do get a bit from that. On the other side of hedge are cows or horses (but you cant see them)! Scarey until you figure out what the munching noise is.
Sand pit, wendy house, hire big go-karts and loads of fresh air. Great. Oh and nice pub around the corner, The Bell with play equipment and Bouncy Castle.

The site is a largish rectangular field with flat wide pitches for tents and caravans either side. The facilities weren't great. These were dirty and old. The washing up area was okay but the toilets didn't seem to be clean the whole weekend we were there. Both needed to be paid for. However we did hear that these were due to be updated in the near future.

There was a large area for games and there were also trikes for hire and also a sep play area for young children.

The local pub was just a short stroll away which is a must even if you aren't staying at the site.

We booked as a large group which in a lot of places do not accept. This was also a bonus.

A nice campsite overall. Would probably go back when the facilities have been updated

The site itself has wide, flat pitches (unlike others in the area) and the staff are helpful. The kids are well catered for with a large play area between the pitches, keeping them within view.
There is a local shop about 15 mins walk which offers an extensive range of products for everyone' needs.
The nearest pub is the Bell situated about 10 mins walk away, which serves good food but try not to order in large groups as it gets very confusing.
The toilet block does need a major overhaul, the showers cost 20p and hot water is 10p.
On the whole we would all visit the site again as it offers a great base for the local area, quiet and uncrowded.

If you have children, this is a great site as there is only one track that runs through the middle with pitches on either side of it but set back. This means they can go and play without you having to worry about cars. The pitches were level and large. The owner has recently built a sandpit area with mechanical diggers, which our younger children loved. There is a games room with a pool table for older children and a number of go-carts for hire which kept the kids happy for hours.
The website says that the town, beach and pub are a 10 minute walk, which is not true (much further). It was a good five minute drive to the beach (Bracklesham Bay, which was lovely).
The toilets and showers are very basic and were only cleaned once every 24 hours so they got a bit smelly. The dishwashing facilities were dreadful so I washed up outside the tent. However, there are plenty of water points around the pitches.
There is no set quiet time so if your children are small it can be a bit noisy but most people quietened down at about 11pm.
We would definitely go there again for a weekend but the showers etc would put me off going for any longer. Well worth a visit for a quiet weekend.

This was our first visit to Red House Farm. We stayed with another family with children. We all had a wnderful time. We paid just £14 a night no extra for gazebos, large pitch. We had to pay 20p for showers which were lovely and hot, so didn't mind. The showers were always clean and tidy when we used them. The owner was lovely and accommodating.

You could hire Go-karts at £2 each these were great fun and suitable for us adults and our 8 year old child.

All in all a lovely site with plenty of room to play ball games.

We will be returning later in the year.
I was reluctant to share this little gem of a site with others.

We've just spent the weekend here, kids loved it and so did we. Simple campsite but fine. You have to pay 20p for a shower and 10p for hot water to wash the dishes. Yep the previous review is right the showers and wcs do need an update but are totally efficient. Easy to keep an eye on the kids as you only need to look down the centre of the field to sand pit with diggers. There is a large shed with pool table and some ancient space invader machines, also there are some large go- karts for hire. No rushing to pack up either, very relaxed.

Not overly impressed but have stayed in worse. Toilets were dire, open beams and full of spiders and cobwebs that looked like they'd been there for years! It wouldn't take much to spruce them up!
Site was also a bit boring, not much around that you can walk to apart form the pub The Bell, which was lovely and worth going back for just for the food! Bracklesham Bay just down the road but again, apart from a lovely beach not a lot there unless you are into wind surfing!

Nice site, basically a large level field with pitches down both sides, some with hook up. The centre of the field is left open for kids, games etc. The owner has thoughtfully provided a sand pit, football net and a pool table in an outhouse. Showers/toliets could do with a bit of TLC and more regular cleaning (when we visited, the field had just been mowed..........), but worked fine with plenty of hot water.

We only stayed one night and are likely to return at some time - only 5 mins from Bracklesham Bay and also 5 mins from a wonderful pub, The Bell Inn, which does both superb adult food and had an outdoor play area. Bliss!
