 The camping fields of this site are set apart from the main static site and on first impression the fields seemed a bit scruffy and not well kept. We spent 3 nights here just recently and the jury is still out!
The site is cheap and cheerful (£12 pn for 2 adults + 2 children with electric)
The facilities on our visit were not up to much, the toilets needed cleaning and if you don't like tracing paper toilet roll then you have to take your own soft stuff everytime you go, plus soap if you want to wash your hands.
The showers were ok, nice and warm and for 50p you got just enough time to wash yourself all over plus hair before it cut off.
There is no facility to hang your clothes within the shower cubicle therefore unless you are happy to walk round naked you have to juggle you way back out to the hooks and then back to the privacy of your shower (I did manage to throw my towel over the door)
HOWEVER. the site is very large and not over crowded, there are many different fields (some with EHU) 2 sets of main toilet blocks and portable loos placed at far ends of the other fields and the views are beautiful. It is a few minutes walk to the local shop/garage/pub/beach and for the money I think this site, whilst basic, is very relaxing, has a great location and is well worth a visit. We would certainly go again.

The site itself, is basic, but adequate for the price. The location is good, near a cliff walk to the beach, and with superb views over the Red Wharf bay.

Ideal site for caravanning virgins,like ourselves, as it wasn't hardcore. The site is suitable for families and really chiled out, right by the beach. Close to local shop/petrol station plus caravan spares shop which was handy!!! What more could you ask for.

Great site, stayed 1 night (£10). Great views of the coastline and the beach is only at the bottom of the site.

I have just come back from this campsite. I spent an enjoyable weekend in Benllech. The campsite was excellent, cheap enough and right by the sea. I like the fact you can just get up and take a 10 minute walk to the beach.
It is an easy relaxing site, there aren't any annoying strict rules, everthing is laid back. We are planning on going back next weekend.
