 We have just spent a fantastic quiet weekend here at this very animal friendly site and have come away planning my next 'family' re-union at this site. As yet the camp site doesnt have shower / toilet block facilities, (it does have elsan point, ehu, water etc) but if like us, you are self sufficient in the WC / shower department, everything else at this site makes up for it 100%.
The Campsite is a far enough distance from the farm and b&b not to be bothered by (or cause) any noise disturbance whatsoever, it is also sheep fenced so no fear of the dog wandering off. The views across the Shropshire hills were stunning. Gill gave me a quick tour of the b&b which is indeed super. Plenty of double, twin and family rooms, and one specifically with lovely large disabled 'wet-room' en-suite facility.
We will be arranging a get together here, especially as the location of Whitchurch is so central, and 'mum with a dodgy hip' can be accomodated in the b&b, with extended family motorhomed on the campsite! So if you just want a quiet 'couply' weekend at this retreat, or fancy a mini family 'rally', this has to be the place. Throw the 'liquids only' rule out of the window for 2 nights, and really enjoy all this place has to offer. Its well worth it, for the sake of a quick harpic moment if needed!
