On arrival we were met by the owner who was on site doing a bit of gardening, she was very nice and friendly in fact all the family were. We had booked for one week but stayed for two due to weather forecast improving second week.
The site is split into two. The field we were on is the CL site and the other has around 30 pitches all with EHU. It was a good location for Falmouth which was only about 1 ½ miles away.
The Facilities are new with two showers, three toilets and three basins in both the ladies and gents. Although these facilities are new, the laundry and disabled facilities are not open as they are not finished. There were no plugs for the sinks, no toilet roll holders and the showers, you had nowhere to put your soap and shampoo. The showers are nice and hot but on several occasions the shower tray would fill up because the waste was blocked. The lights are timed and go off after a couple of minutes which leaves you in the dark. The Facilities need to be completed so campers can make full use of them. After a week you could see that these facilities weren’t being cleaned properly or regular. Which is a shame as this campsite is in a great location. The owners need to get on top of the cleaning so there new facilities are not spoilt. If I came back to Falmouth I would use this campsite again.

Were were a little underwhelmed when we arrived as I was expecting a more rural setting. The site does adjoin fields but is right on the edge of the Falmouth outer-estates without the benefit of being able to walk down to the water front or even cycle (unless young and very fit!).
However it was peaceful and the facilities are good though still undergoing latter stages of refurbishment. The local pub Boslowick was not really somewhere for a pleasant night out and didn't seem to do food.
The site appeared to have a zone for neglected elderly caravans which was a tad Mad-Max-Ville. However if you want well priced pitches in a quiet spot handy by vehicle for Falmouth with good facilities but no thrills - it could be for you!

My wife and I visited this site at the end of August and stayed for 10 days. We found the site to be a right gem, great location, quiet site, great modern facilities, bus stop right outside.
We parked our Hymer up for the 10 days, you could catch the bus right outside, or walk into town, or beach, all within 20-30min walk. There was various public footpaths on the doorstep in every direction (the dog loved it!)
The campsite is on the outskirts of Falmouth, town one side, and countryside the other. Loads to do in Falmouth, it's a great place.
Lovely campsite, great value, we'll be going back!

We stayed at the Menehay for a week in august. Cant rate it enough.
We had a lovely welcome by very helpful and friendly people. Lovely new shower block and toilets, showers were on a timer but not a problem and they were lovely and warm.
Bus stop right outside the campsite to go and explore and a walk into town or the beach took half an hour at a slow pace, all uphill so good for walking off those fish and chips. Food lovely at local pub. Had a fab visit, wouldn't think twice about going back. Highly recommend.

Easy to find site, with good directions from site owner, who is very friendly.
Small toilet, which also acts as chemical toilet. New ones being constructed.
Site is mostly grass and some care needs to be taken when pitching so that one does not become bogged down in wet weather~not that we had a problem.
Water and electric access is excellent.
Site is about 1. 5miles from sea front.
There is a pub just down the road which sells food, we did not try it but reports were good.
Pendennis Castle (English Heritage) well worth a visit if a bit expensive. You could spend a day there.
We paid £10 a night with elec, excellent value and we will go again.

Booked this at short notice as was travelling around Cornwall and wanted somewhere close to Falmouth.
I spoke to the site owner via phone and was informed that we could stay however the facilities were currently being refurbished i. E. A new toilet/shower block was being constructed.
As we were independent this was not an issue.
Good location being a relatively short but hilly walk into Falmouth, (although a few days before we arrived a bus stop had been erected adjacent to the site entrance)
In all fairness we did not see the site at its best due to construction etc. However when completed I think it will be a pleasant little site.
We will return at some point in the future!
