This site is great, admittedly it is a big commercial site, but it is certainly one of the best. We have stayed at loads of Haven sites and this place is much better. The entertainment is really good with things on in the day if the weather is not so good. The Dr Who show, silly science, pantomime and wrestling are all really good. We have been 3 times already this year and I am sure we will go again. There are loads of facilities, the swimming pool is excellent and the go carts are a really fun. They have two person carts for no additional charge. I only have three criticisms, all minor. The on site shop does not open until 9am, most days I drove to other shops on site to get the daily paper. Secondly the grey waste disposal is a pain. You have to lift the full container up to knee height in order to empty it. Thirdly the sites take away food shops always seam to be really slow. The fish and chip shop was the worst. I waited 20 mins for a bag of chips. Small criticisms the site is really good overall.

Just returned from this site and it was our first camping experience.
We booked an electric pitch for a long weekend and the pitch itself was ample for our Vango Sungari 600 plus canopy and car at the side. Agree with previous review that there seemed to be no noise control and was kept awake until 3am the first night due to noisy neighbour.
The toilets/shower block were cleaned frequently and although one block had no hot water one morning it was quickly sorted out.
The children's play area was excellent, there is a huge area next to it to play ball games etc and a basketball/5 a side pitch.
All in all this campsite was good and the facilities at West Sands were brilliant for the kids. We would definitely return again.

This site is very large and is made up of several different sites, it has a free train/bus service running. It was windy which is not the sites fault but it is advisable to have windbreaks, also ask for the artichoke field you can pitch up anywhere compared to the rest of the site which were packed in like sardines. Also there is no quiet time rules so basically when other campers came back late from the club on site we all knew about it!
Plenty of good modern toilet/shower facilities but the disappointment was that they were very dirty and there were only a few sanitary bins in the ladies where there should have been one in every single toilet
Good indoor pool with slides and rapids plenty of changing rooms, and next to a pebble beach.
If you want to visit a sandy beach you need to drive to West Wittering, about 10 minutes away.

What can I say, a fabulous place. It has something for everyone. The shower facilities are modern and hot and the shower stays on for ever! There is plenty of room in the shower and there is even a chair to put your things on. The management are very helpful and the site is clean and tidy and while we were there there were no rowdy groups, just small groups of families camping together. We went with a couple of other families and had a great time.
The campsite is away from all the facilities so you can either stay away from it or join in as you wish. There is a little bus that goes round to all the facilities which is really nice. The pools are great and the entertainment was also good.
Highly recommended!

This is not the sort of site we normally go for but we enjoyed it nonetheless! Lots of facilities on site means you don't need to leave really - but you should as it's a beautiful area to explore.
The evening entertainment is fun - we saw Slade there and everyone seemed to really let their hair down. Cost of camping includes all the facilities incl swimming etc. There is a free little train around the place (it's massive!)
There is a bike hire place nearby and we hired a tandem for half a day.
Campsite facilities are good and it is a separate field so it feels like real camping rather than being part of the huge static caravan park which is attached to.
I'd come here again - we had a laugh!

This was our first camping trip ever!
We were impressed with the site. The toilets and showers were clean and all had plenty of hot water. The washing up area was fine.
The whole site was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly.
My only criticism is that it was a little noisy very late at night - there didn't seem to be any quiet time rules. I was still lying awake at 2am listening to people shouting and laughing. Mind you, that was partly due to my bed being uncomfortable too lol.
Surrounding area was great. West Sands park close by. Great site - by the beach. Excellent entertainment. Great food. Very clean.
Would visit again.

We booked this site as we wanted to take our baby son on his first camping trip and the facilities looked good and it was advertised as 'Family Orientated' which we felt was important.
We were kept up all night by groups of people roaming the site yelling, singing, playing music and generally making a massive nuisance of themselves. There was no security, no enforcement of the rules, nothing. They were just allowed to get on with it.
To be fair the facilities were very clean and good, the family room for bathing baby was very useful, if a bit small – but much better than nothing. The site was flat, although it was pretty barren. It was however very expensive. When I complained to reception they were very very apologetic.

We stayed here as a last minute weekend break this last weekend. We initially were unsure whether to book because this place is a lot more expensive than other parks we have stayed at. But considering the facilities this place has to offer it was excellent value for money. The pitches were a little close so I would suggest if you can, asking for Artichoke Field which was pitch where you like. Shower facilities were great - due to sheer numbers using them maybe could be cleaned a little more - but overall very good. The waterfront complex is fantastic with everything you could need. The swimming pool was fantastic and free, and we highly recommend the bunny club for the little ones. Our daughter loved it. The only criticism I would have was the staff were a little inflexible - having booked a last minute break we were told we had to arrive by 7 that night as there would be no-one there to see us in and also the reception hours a little undesirable. You need to leave a £10 deposit for the family room key which is a great idea as my daughter has an aversion to showers! Great Place and we are already planning to go back!
For fantastic cheap fish and chips head down to Selsey high street!

We have just got back from this site. Me, Husband and 2 kids aged 4 and 6 years. It was the Easter holidays.
We were welcomed by very friendly staff who booked us in and gave us a welcome pack. We were then shown to a large pitch with electric hook up. The pitch was large and very well maintained as were the roads and gardens. There had been a lot of rain the day before we arrived and there were a few large puddles on some pitches but ours although wet didn't get muddy. The site was not that busy whilst we were there. In the summer I can imagine it gets extremley busy. The shower block and washing up facilities were immaculate and the showers were hot and the block kept very warm.
A bit of a downside for us was that this site is absolutely huge and is 3 separate parks in all, one touring park and 2 static caravan parks. There is no entertainment or eating facilities in the touring park area. (This did mean that it was also very quiet) The pool and leisure complex is a good 15 minutes walk with young children, although they do run a shuttle bus which didn't seem that frequent and doesn't start until 1100 am. There is also entertainment in the other direction again another 15 minute walk. We only went to this for 1 night, it was very good with separate entertainment for adults and children. There is a very good play park near to the touring section of the park and also other parks in each site.
The bar was quite expensive but the restaurant and take aways were very reasonable. We had a cooked breakfast in the restaurant in the Oasis complex for £2.99 and it was very good value and delicious. The indoor pool is superb, very warm and very clean with sauna and steam room included as well as water slides and a lazy river, my kids loved it and had we stayed longer we would have definitely used it much more.
All in all a good park but a little pricey for tourers considering the distance you need to travel to get to the facilities (£33.50 per night for up to 4 people, electric hook up). I can imagine in the summer it will be very busy and some of the pitches are quite close together. It is also a long way down a single carriageway road with only 1 way in and 1 way out and again it will be very chocca in the summer.

Apart from the typical English weather this was a very good camp site. Pitches were a reasonable size, we had an 8 man tunnel tent & a kitchen tent and our friends had a large trailer tent and could also park the cars on the pitch. Only problem with parking was when people with smaller tents pitched at the front of their area and then parked on the road leaving not much room to get through, instead of pitching at back of their area and parking in front of tent.
Shower/toilet block clean and tidy but can get congested at busy times so plan when to go, possibly could do with another block on another part of the site as it was a fair trek for some.
Entertainment complex was on the site next door, which is 15 min walk or you can drive as there is a large car park right next to it.Swimming pool, sauna & steam room all free and very good.Evening entertainment really good, but not much to do on site daytime.
Bit of a trek to get to attractions around and about, probably seems further than they actually are because you can't get out of Selsey without getting stuck behind a tractor. If you visit Brighton try to park in town if you have a car full of adults because their park & ride charges £3.50 per person, where as normally we pay about £3 per car.
Main supermarket just up the road at Chichester
We will definitely use this site again in the future.
