First night of camping for me and the family so we chose a local site for a test. We are glad we went there as the staff where very friendly and helpful the club house was small but had good entertainment, the small restaurant was very nice and again staffed by very friendly people. The toilet block was fairly small but clean. We will go again though.

This site is local to where we live and we went there with our 2 children and our friends and their children. We stayed one night only really to put our new tents up, sort out any problems and get one nights sleeping under our belt. The site is well maintained, clean and has all facilities you would expect. We had a nice meal before going through to the bar for a few drinks and the entertainment. Our pitch was at the back of the site overlooking the river and had pleasant views. Everyone was friendly and whilst we did not use all of the facilities, there was plenty to do. I would certainly go back again, even if only for the weekend as it is only about 15 miles from where we live. Having tried the site, I would certainly try other camp sites in the group and would recommend it. Looking forward to the next camping trip.

Perhaps not enough loos for the amount of people on site. Kids liked the place but not enough for them to do. Camp shop was a bit pricey - if you go to this site there is a shop 5 mins off site turn right as you leave the camp site.

Staff friendly and helpful, despite the cold we had a good weekend

I stayed here in a tent with my 4 kids. The site overall was ok. Good size pitches, although a little uneven for tents. Staff friendly. No beach to speak of, mud and stones. A 'lake' next to 'beach', not clean enough to swim in and a lot of dog poo about. Small jetty where kids were fishing and crabbing. This area was off-site, so I suppose not Watersides responsibility. Country walks all around the area. The pool was small but very clean with life-guards present, great sauna and jacuzzi, slide etc for kids. Shower and toilet facilities small, but clean and modern, although there was no loo roll for couple of days! Well stocked shop. Didnt try takeaway. Beauty salon that looked nice too. Play area was adequate and next to club house. The Club house is very modern and clean, with good kid and adult entertainment. My only complaint would be that the washing machines only had cold water and the iron was not working. But I will be going back.

Big group of us went which may have been a bit of a nightmare for other visitors! We had a great time though the pool is a bit on the small side. I would not say it was on the beach as there was no sand, just dirty water and a lot of seaweed. Staff were brilliant apart from one who was very rude. Would go again and just might do this year so watch out!

Very relaxing weekend. Parked right on the sea wall so had view of sailing activities all weekend. Very quiet, pool too small for campsite - looked about 10' x 20', being indoor as well, felt very restricted with the amount of children on camp. Camp shop adequate, entertainment? we made our own! Lovely walks along sea wall. If you want peace and quiet and friendly staff - then you've come to the right place!

Visted this site with touring caravan the weekend after the school holidays finished. It was quiet when we first arrived and had a good nights sleep but by the weekend it got quite busy and was noisy of a night. The site itself had good facilities with small indoor pool and kids play area. The bar had some fun entertainment on of an evening which was good to watch, the cafe had a good range of food and tasted good although there was limited seating, they also done takeaway food. There was some nice walks nearby along the beach, not too good for paddling or swimming much too muddy. Overall quite pleasant a site worth a visit but will not go back.

Site was easy to find with the directions given. On arrival the staff did not know we were coming even though we had booked and paid in full.We had to pay extra for a barrier key or you could only take the car in and out till 1am.

Toilet block was clean and we had plenty of room on the pitch. Swimming pool was small but adequate as was the play area. The site was full and noisy late at night but overall not bad.
