 We have just come back from a Friday - Sunday stay.
Pitches are very large. Clean tidy.
The people that run it are fabulous, nothing too much trouble and made us feel so much at home.
Good fishing lakes.
Could do with another shower/toilet block, but We did not have a problem getting in.
Will be going back definitely.

What can we say. Superb springs to mind. Stunning view. Enormous pitches adults only section. Shower block new with heating. The biggest I have seen and spotless.
If your looking for peace and quiet with a lovely tea room on site then do come here. We will definitely be back.
Forgot to mention a lovely walk for dogs and also a fishing lake which is well stocked with carp.

A lovely stay at Waterloo farm. We spent 8 nights on a lake side pitch which was lovely especially as we had good weather most of the week.
We were a little disappointed to find the cafe closed on Friday night, as we had been led to believe it opened Thursday - Saturday night. Not to worry though as we headed off into Market Harbourgh where we had a lovely meal. We did eat in the cafe Saturday night and Sunday lunch time and all was good, I am a vegi, and as soon as I mentioned this they went out of there way to make me something. It would of course of been better if vegetarians were catered for on the usual menu.
James and his staff went out of their way to ensure their guests were happy.
The shower blocks were kept lovely and clean with plenty of hot water.
All in all a fab week, and we are already looking forward to returning soon.

Nice site well maintained great fishing nice clean showers good size pitches we had a fully serviced pitch we didn't do any fishing but the pitches around the lake looked like they were all catching hard standing pitches we found that we had problems with getting pegs in but over all was a nice visit p. S just watch out for the bloke in the 4x4 bmw fat bloke bold head who seems to be a long term resident who come past our van at warp speed and nearly didn't stop

We recently spent 4 nights here, we got a warm welcome from the owner in the café, she said we were on the family site but could upgrade us to the adult only site but would have to wait around for 3 hours, we were not bothered about this so accepted the family site. Our pitch was tucked away in the corner, which was small but very quiet/peaceful, the main sites around the lake were lovely & the toilet facilities were spotless, however the toilet block on the family site was no where near as clean & there was no hot water in the washbasins, we brought this to the attention of the proprietor, but nothing changed so mentioned it again when we left. The owner was very apologetic & said she had not had complaints before but now would act immediately on the points we had raised & fair play to her for that. We will return as this is a very nice site & hope the few points we raised will have been sorted out.

This site is local to us so having bought a new awning we decided to give the site ago for one night.
Our pitch was overlooking the fishing lake (Wellington View) and close to toilets. The pitch was hard standing and fairly flat. Due to only staying one night we did not really make use of the facilities such as the café, which was closed and a small craft shop.
The toilets were clean although there were only two male and female toilets which also housed the shower. During busy times this could be an issue.
We haven’t visited this site since but would go back.

Just spent 5 nights here, lovely site The site was very well set out and maintained, very clean, peaceful, easily found nice toilets and hot showers. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Fishing was great too had some great big catches.
The rates are very good for such a lovely site.
Will be going back soon.

Just had a 2 night stay at Waterloo Farm with one of our dogs. The owners were very welcoming and took me round to my pitch looking over on to the fishing lake. Pitches are of a very good size with electric, water and grey water drainage right there. The cafe looked lovely and I understand that it caters for breakfasts and lunches. The shower and toilet block was very clean. Each room had a shower, toilet and basin with plenty of hooks and room to get changed. My only concern was if the site was full then you could have to wait for a shower as there were only 2 for men and 2 for women. There is a separate toilet on site as well.
The old railway track takes you in to Market Harborough which has a lovely selection of shops and cafés and there are some lovely pubs that do food in the neighbouring villages.
This was the first time I had stayed alone in the van and was worried that I wouldn't feel safe but even walking the dog last thing at night wasn't giving me any concerns.
I would certainly stay here again with my partner and other dogs.

Just back from a lovely weekend at this site. We stayed in the Waterloo View field, overlooking the lake (but not on the lake shore). The pitches here are slightly sloping but we measured it at 2 degrees so didn't even bother with levelling chocks.
The new washrooms are lovely: essentially private bathrooms with a loo, basin and shower cubicle in a room bigger than our bathroom at home! There's a little heater, a table with mirror, chair and lots of hooks for your clothes etc. What a pleasure to have all that space to dry off and dress after a shower, without having to worry about dropping your clothes in a puddle! The only negative was that there was no mop to clean up afterwards, but despite this the facilities were very clean. There's no hand towels or dryer either, so take a towel.
The cafe is fantastic too: we had breakfast there both days, and dinner on Saturday night. The food and drink is reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's worth noting that they're about to begin a refurbishment project next week (30 Sep) so their menu is being reduced for this period, but they're still doing their famous Sunday lunches!
The site is very quiet and drinking outside your unit is discouraged, but this wasn't a problem for us anyway. There's great access to the Brampton Valley Way so it's perfect for cycling and walking in the area.
We'll definitely return!

A very peaceful and relaxing site you could be hundred miles from anywhere its so peaceful
On arrival you are welcomed with a smile and shown by by the owner your pitch which for us was round the lake not to far from toilets [spotless] and with a quick walkway for our dog to run down to the field
A pleasant walk can be had when walking along the old train track which is now all pathway but take a torch if you decide to go the 413 metres under the old bridge as its very dark and with loads of puddles you don't see until you feel them, or walk into the town of Market Harborough where there is plenty of shops to stock up on
You can sit around the lake and catch some very big carp and just relax
A very pleasant stay and we will certainly be returning
