 What a hidden gem. Lovely site, smashing welcome.
The site wasn't full, and was very peaceful indeed.
Set away from the road, so no traffic noise, just a few minutes away from Market Harborough itself.
Our pitch was slightly sloping, so levellers were needed. We stayed on the adults only part, but we'll try and get next to the lake next time, as we like being beside water. The pitches have both water and electricity, and are charged at a reasonable rate.
We didn't try the tea room, although apparently it's brilliant. We will next time.
I used our m/h facilities, but my partner said the showers were fine, with a large room all to yourself, containing toilet, wash basin, and shower.
The site has a lovely feel to it, relaxing and safe.
We'll certainly be back. Thank you

Nice site with different areas to pitch. The gentleman at reception was lovely and very informative. Nothing seemed to be a problem for him. Pitches were a good size with water at them.
Pitches themselves needing a bit of TLC. Quite a lot of big leaves. We weren’t beside the fishing lakes but still had to watch our feet for the bird poo. I know there’s nothing you can do about that.
Two toilets with showers. Their both in the one room which was massive, so plenty room to get changed. Nice field at bottom of site that you could let the dog off lead.
There is a cafe but unfortunately wasn’t opened when we were there due to staff training.

A nice site with hard standing, fully serviced pitches which was ideal for the November weather. We stayed on the adults only area which was slightly sloping so leveling blocks are required.
We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival and were directed to our pitch.
The site is split into several different areas, with a family area, adults only and a motorhome area.
On the adult only site the electric, water and waste is sited between 2 pitches, if you are on an even numbered pitch the facilities are on the offside of the caravan, if you are on an odd numbered pitch they will be on the nearside so they may be quite a distance from the waste and water inlets/outlets on the caravan, so do consider this when booking your pitch.
The site is well situated for the Brampton Valley Way, with direct access from site and is ideal for cyclists and walkers alike and it is only a couple of miles along it into Market Harborough. There is also a large dog walking field for four legged friends.

A quiet site in a pleasant location but scruffy and the facilities are "tired".
I thinks it's mostly about the fishing! There is a nice lake with a swim behind every pitch. Unfortunately, we weren't there for the fish.

Fishing from my awaning what's not to like about that.
The turning off the A508 may be a little bumpy if you take the turn early as the kerb is high, you get the first view's as you drive down the long drive, stopping at the tea rooms.
Booking in was easy and staff very pleasant, we were shown on the map where our pitch was, pulled onto our pitch and greeted by staff who pointed out where where everything was and if any problems phone the 24/7 number.
The toilet, shower block was basic but plenty of room all on a keypad code.
The oxendon tunnel on the Brampton valley way was worth a visit
Over all done off the best caravan fishing sites.

Booked last minute on a sunny and warm early autumn weekend. Our children stayed at home but we still pitched on the family site. There are only seven pitches in that section (and some looked seasonal) and there were no other children.
We arrived after reception/tea shop had closed, so all necessary arrival and pitch details were sent via Whatsapp. All very comprehensive and straightforward.
The hardstanding pitch was huge, flat at the top with a slight slope at the bottom. EHU, water tap and waste on the pitch.
Toilet block had one male, one female wc, one shower room and a laundry room. Access was by a key pad on each door. There is a pot washing sink outside the facilities block which comprised a Belfast sink with a grotty table next to it.
Immediate access on to the bike path. We took a longer route to Market Harborough, heading down through one of the tunnels. Take a torch!
We had coffee and cake at the tra shop which was delicious. Most staff were very cheery and friendly.
This is a good site, I would return. I would keep washing the pots in the van!

The site staff could not have been more helpful and even decorated a table for our lunch with visiting family.
Food and pricing excellent as was the facility arrangements.
Can only recommend and would visit again anytime.

So glad I found this site. Easy access from the main road down a long drive so you are well away from any traffic noise. There is a narrow bridge on the access road to the pitches but no problem if taken with care
Pitches are hard standing and really large with enough room for caravan awning and car although there is a slight slope to some. Services are next to the pitch.
Although the whole site is set up around fishing I still had plenty of room to exercise my two dogs.
We had booked for six nights but had to leave early, but I was so impressed with this site and what I saw of the surrounding area that I will definitely return soon.

Lovely place where we were sited, on the lakes edge.
My only criticism if I had to make one, would be the amount of geese pooh around the pitches running the risk of taking it in on your shoes. Nor enough bins only found one lot on a different part of the site.
