Fantastic and unique site!
Pitches were incredibly spacious, with a private and spotlessly clean portaloo.
Everything about this site is faultless.
Will return and recommend time after time! Thank you for a lovely holiday

What gem of a site. One of the best we've stayed on. Already booked for next Easter. This will be one of our regular sites we visit more than once a year
All pitches are well spaced out hidden in the woods or down on the field. Enough space to take our massive tent (9. 5 × 4. 5mtrs), small wc and shower block with washing up facilities, chemical toilet disposal, virtually every pitch has it's own portaloo. Plenty of wildlife around.
Owners Lynne and Stan are brilliant. Always ready for a chat.
Roll on next for our visit at Easter

This is a beautiful site.
The showers and toilets were immaculate and we received a really warm welcome.
Lots of little woodland paths to explore with our puppy.

Lovely setting and very large pitches. Woodland setting with pitches dotted around in clearings. Great to open the camper doors in the morning and not be overlooked. Toilets clean. Loads of hot water for showers and washing-up.
Great location to visit South Lakes. Had a meal in Royal Oak in Lindale. Excellent.
Disliked: our pitch was on AstroTurf. Thought this was a good idea, no muddy boots in the camper, but it had started to deteriorate giving off thousands of tiny bits of black plastic. This could be an environmental concern.

Amazing and peaceful site with lots of privacy. We will definitely be booking again.
The site was very clean, and the toilets and showers were lovely and clean too. Lots of hot water to shower and clean pots.
You had your own individual waste bin too which was emptied daily. Thank you Lynne and Stan 😊

Lovely site in a pinetree wood,
The owners keep the site nice and clean and are also very helpful with providing ehu and fireplace and baskets of logs and as well as the toilet & shower blocks, each pitch has its own porter log which is cleaned daily,
I will be returning.

Love this place! It’s so beautiful and perfect for a serene break away.
We booked very last minute and were on the edge of the woodland which turned out to be great as the pitch was huge and fairly isolated, and everyone has their own toilets.
Shower block was great, it was very quiet and had a fantastic relaxed atmosphere about the place, the owners clearly love the place and enjoy what they do.
We’re back again in August for 3 nights and I can’t wait, looking forward to trying out the woodland camping as well.
Thanks Lynne and Stan!

We went for Wainwright walking with our dog. The spot was big with electricity hook up and a place for a campfire.
There's proper facilities that are clean all the time to shower, use the toilet and to wash up and there's a portaloo shared between about 3 pitches for midnight wees!
Really peaceful and lovely, slept better here than we did in our own bed!
The owners were lovely people, easy to contact when we arrived (about 8pm) and they showed us to the spots that we could have.
Not too many bugs either!
