 This has to be my favourite site. The site is kept spotless, the toilet block and showers are always clean ( toilets bleached at least twice a day ). The site is central to all the best places, Looe, Talland Bay and Polperro. There is no club house therefore no noise. The site has large well kept pitches a small shop and a kiddies play area.
For value this is one of the cheapest sites we have come across.
Brenda is lovely and so funny.
We have booked again for next year ( third year in a row )
I highly recommend West Waylands.

Stayed May bank hol. Although the weather was terrible the site was clean and well looked after. Brenda ruled with a rod of iron and made sure dogs were kept under control and was very helpful. Plenty of pitches around a central children's basic play area.
Shop on site and chippie van, very expensive. Showers and toilets basic and no hot running water due to break down! A very steep walk to and from the beach, too far for young ones to haul back up, nice cafe at beach.
Polperro 2 1/2 mile nice for a day out, Looe has got all basic amenities, but will need a car to get about.

Excellent site. We have just had a week there.
Even though it rained every day the site seemed to be very well drained. The pitches were well marked out and when it stopped raining the view's were superb looking out over the valley down to towards Talland Bay.
One thing did mar the visit was the shop being closed (Early in season and very few visitors I think). However with the town of Looe just a couple of miles away and careful planning of the required goods it didn't spoil the stay.
This is a site with limited facilities but the toilets were spotlessly clean and access to the site was good (new roadways added during our stay), the children's play area was taken full advantage of, by our little Grandaughter who came for a visit and I would put it in the restfull & easy going catagory of campsite.

We visit this site a lot as it is only an hour from home - we all love it. Lovely views across the Bay. It is on a slight slope but most of the pitches are level. The facilities are always kept clean, the shop is really useful, it is well-run - the lady that is in charge sees to that!
Fish and chip van every evening is really useful if you want a cooking free night. Talland Bay is a nice shingle beach just down the hill (bit steep coming back) but you can drive if you leave early enough to get parking. Easy to get into Looe and Polperro.
But the best thing about this site is the price, very very good value for money. It is like camping was years ago, lots of families, no noisy clubhouse. Just a relaxing time.

Very tidy site. Great value for money. Clean.
In view of the roads in Cornwall, especially this part, this site is easy to find. Just off the main road.
Lots of statics. But we were away from them in our tent.
We had EHU and had no trouble with it.
The pitch was flat and dry with plenty of room for the kids to play.
The short car journey into Looe is worth while. Very pretty fishing village.
Great place for fish and chips and the odd 'tat' shop. Nothing too gaudy though.
Plenty of amenities around. Banks, petrol, groceries and the like.
Would definitely go again if in the area.

With sea and countryside views, Tregarton Park is ideal for couples or families with younger children, given its relaxed seclusion and proximity to so many of Cornwall's fine safe sandy beaches. Large grass and hardstanding pitches with electric, divided by hedging and shrubs, perfect for tents and tourers. No statics! Superb toilet and shower block with large glass shower cubicles operated by motion sensors with ceiling mounted shower heads, laundry room, baby changing station.

A Superb site with panoramic views and an excellent shop. It also has a very modern and ultra clean toilet / shower / laundry block. The grounds are well kept and have very spacious pitches. Most outstanding is the prices, I personally don't think they can be beaten for staying on such a lovely site. You will also find the proprietors very friendly and helpful. We had a thoroughly good holiday and highly recommend it to all.
