We had originally planned to stay 2 nights before moving on but found Bingham Grange so good and so well placed that we stayed for 7! The whole operation is run so very well and the facilities so superbly maintained. The Buzzard restaurant was used a couple of evenings and the nearby Washingpool Farmshop/cafe supplied our shopping needs very well ( as well as Sunday lunch and a cream tea!)
The absence of children was a little strange at first but we soon adapted. Also the large number of dogs but these were on the whole well controlled by their owners.

Another great visit to this lovely campsite. The toilets and showers are a joy to use. No money, no 'push and pray' taps, no children! Staff are highly professional and helpful.
We have visited twice before - the only campsite we've gone back to - and it was the busiest we've seen it. It is a great location for touring and walking around a beautiful part of Dorset. Pity there is not a decent pub within walking distance. The on site pub/restaurant does a good job but would not be our choice apart form its convenience.
A bit of a smell around the bins - sorry to sound negative because we really do rate this site and will return.

Just come home after a two night stay at this camp site.
On arrival you are shown to your pitch and ours was at the bottom of the camping field. The pitch was clearly marked out and we were told that we could pitch the tent anywhere within the pitch.
The pitch was on a slope which we didn't think would be a problem when we pitched the tent but as the day went on it became clear that the slope was a problem. The camping stove was on a slope, which made making tea very hard as there was no flat surface. It also made sleeping very hard as you felt like you were sliding down the slope and if we had turned the bed around we would have slid into each other.
The site itself is very nice. It is peaceful as no children are allowed on the site. The shower blocks are well kept and there are individual shower rooms with a toilet, shower and basin. These did get crowded at peak times though. You are expected to mop out the shower you use after use. There was always warm, if not always hot water.
The restaurant serves very good food but we did have a problem the second night we went into the restaurant as it was very crowded and we had to wait for a table. Trouble was they kept being given to other people who had come in after us. We had to complain before being given a table and then it was getting late.
The leaving time for your pitch is 11am but on our last day the grass was being cut around us as we packed up at 10.40am. They could have waited until we had actually gone.
The camping park is well located close to the town of Bridport and it is close to the lovely coast at West Bay. Weymouth is about 20 miles away but is easy to get to. There are plenty of things to do around the area.

We have just returned after a five day break. We could not fault the cleanliness of the toilets/showers, however there was just not enough of them to cope with demand. The owner has now another field open for tents and feel should have another toilet block to ease the problem. It was a nightmare sometimes not being able to shower until lunchtime. We also felt the pitches in the top field, for campervans and caravans were far to close together. We could hear the man snoring in the caravan next door!

This is a wonderful site! We have just returned from 2 nights stay and loved every minute. The park is situated in very peaceful grounds, only birds and the cockerel making noise! However it is only a short drive to a morrison's / co-op in the town and any sight seeing is close by.
We were shown to our very spacious flat pitch as soon as we arrived which was surrounded by young conifer plants, which in the years to come will give lots of privacy. As you can imagine some pitches were on a slight slope though. The grounds were immaculately kept and there was a lovely walk around the park, plenty of space to walk dogs.
The toilets and showers were like no other campsite we've been to before, the shower was better than ours at home! They were always clean and tidy and also lots available so we never encountered queues.
There is a restaurant / bar which serves great food and plenty of it! If the toffee fudge cheesecake is on you have to try it.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful although as everything was so good and efficient we never really had to speak to anyone!
We thought that this site was very reasonably priced for the facilities it offered and for the location.
We are already deciding when we can go back!

We spent several days at this site. Everyone was very helpful. We had a nice hardstanding pitch at the outer edge of the site, and were glad of this - we wouldn't have liked to be in the middle; we definitely preferred having a hedge and field bordering us. There were some shrubs planted between the pitches, which gave a nice sense of privacy.
There is a useful little shop. The restaurant is really good, but isn't open every day.
Excellent shower facilities and laundry room.
We could hear the dogs when we went for a walk down to the stream, but couldn't hear anything from our pitch.

We have just returned yesterday from a six day stay at this beautiful site in the Dorset countryside. All the facilities are immaculate and the staff are really helpful and work hard at keeping the standard high. The sun shone the whole time making our stay idyllic on this adults only site. Our large young dog was exhausted after exploring the extensive grounds, woodland, fields and the river which are dog friendly as they are all well fenced off, so if you have a dog there are no worries for 'off lead' walking. The restaurant and bar are of the highest standard and we enjoyed the takeaway service for food which was just as good as you would expect of a five star hotel. There is a well stocked shop open every day and there are no hidden charges on the site. We will be back.

Just back from a weeks camping over Whitsun at this fabulous site, which seems to run on the basis of anticipating and exceeding its customers‘ expectations.
When we booked by phone Sue in reception warned us that we would be on a slope and asked if that would be OK. This campsite nestles beautifully in picturesque rolling Dorset hills, and naturally only some of it is level.
The spacious grassy field of Valley View is manicured like a suburban lawn. Our pitch looked out onto the open empty centre of the field (which was not used for pitches) and easily accommodated an Outwell Montana 4 tent with room to spare.
We enjoyed breakfast supplies from the small but deceptively well stocked shop and thanked the resident ducks and chickens for the use of their eggs. Buzzards, the on site restaurant, is friendly with a good range of delicious fairly priced food. It was packed when we arrived for dinner at 7.00pm. The quality of the food and the convenience explained its popularity.
The walks around the site are pleasant and dogs seem to like the stream at the bottom of the field. The site is planted with stands of maturing woodland. Be prepared for a rousing dawn chorus. This is a great place to relax, get in touch with the natural world and let your work life melt into the distance.
Loos and bathrooms were as good as I have seen anywhere. Spotless individual shower / toilet / washbasin suites were a further comfort and convenience.
Staff were kindly and efficient, and knew who we were. We hadn’t stayed on an adult only site before and enjoyed the peace, marred only on the first night by one couple’s loud TV and chatter after which tranquillity prevailed. We plan to revisit for weekends. This peace is, for us, only ninety minutes away from work.

This site is a gem! So peaceful and relaxing but also central to lots of attractions.
The pitch that we had was very spacious and nicely kept. Electric hookup easy accessible and the water tap just in front of our pitch - wonderful.
The shower rooms consisted of toilet, basin and shower cubicle and were luxurious as well as modern and all were spotlessly clean. Mops always outside the rooms too so you can clear up after yourself. The separate loos were also spotless and loo paper always to hand! One critical point is that they are a little away from the camping area, however didn't pose that much of a problem.
The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Even in the restaurant, when really busy, they all had a smile and a friendly word. The food was fabulous and the portions ample. If you only wanted to sit with a drink you were not made to feel unwelcome or rushed at all. The take away service, although we didn't use it, was a good idea and lots of people did use this facility. Prices were very good too.
There is a shop and fully equipped laundry area too.On some shelves there were reading books you can borrow and return before leaving the site.
Overall, a wonderful peaceful haven just for adults.

Brilliant location, great staff, best bathroom facilities ever. We were allocated a small pitch but have worked out what to ask for when we return. Wonderful farm buildings and dog walk areas. Very good on site restaurant with take away option which we will use next time. A separate camping field with great views and different locations. Would recommend a visit to Bridport market on a Wednesday or Saturday. Very convenient location.

Spent 4 night here recently, we have never used our caravan so early in the year but this was an ideal site to say on. The shower and loos were spotless with lots of hot water. The kitchen was great to wash up in, its equipped with washing machine, tumble drier, spin drier and microwave all spotless, the whole place has a well kept feeling. We had some lovely days walking on the coastal paths which were easily reached from this site.

The site is kept tidy and the country walks are lovely there are woods at the bottom of the site leading to a small river. From the site you can go on some marked country walks leading through fields up to the local pub ( Pymore arms )Lyme regis is well worth a visit, west bay is a nice sea side harbour. What a beautiful adult only site. The views are lovely. The dog walks from the site are the best we have experienced. The staff could not do enough for us, very friendly and helpful. We were only there for 6 nights, we tried to stay longer but it was fully booked, testimony to how good the site is. Going back next year for 2 weeks but will need to book early.

Recently had a brilliant fortnight here and enjoyed every minute lovely scenery great dog walks from the site.
Lovely loos and very well kept site my only complaint was I thought the fees were a little expensive for what facilities they had, but that's just my opinion.
Lots to see and do in the surrounding area bridport is a lovely old fashioned town with good supermarkets and you can get great fish and chips at west bay

Lovely clean site, with great facilities. A couple of shower rooms with sink and toilet, our very own en-suite! Didn't use the bar/restaurant but looked reasonably priced. Flat areas in middle of field (sloping off towards edge) but we were lucky to have a secluded flat spot at the side, surrounded by hedges, great for shelter as hurricane something or other had just blow through! It was just like a garden!
Short drive to West Bay, lovely little beach and harbour there (Harbour Lights!). Lovely walks straight from the site too. Very dog friendly, lovely dog walk.
Owners/wardens very friendly.
Would return, but only if we had the same pitch!
