 A lovely campsite with decent facilities and friendly staff.
Good location by the canal, near to pubs and other amenities and the surrounding countryside.

Host very pleasant and welcoming.
Site for campers was a large flat field with Hook up points down the length.
It was park where you want as you wont which we love.
Nice canal side walk to local pub with nice food.
Very pleasant three day stay.

Lovely drive through the countryside to get there. Friendly owner, lots of space, good security.
Old farm machinery and historic vehicles to look at and a little pond for fishing if that's your thing. Lovely cafe on site.
Great walks along the canal. The Folly pub is only 35 mins walk along the canal which had good beer and food.
This was our third visit and we'll no doubt go again.

We stayed at holt farm for 2 nights. The area was a lovely walk along the canal and the walk up to the folly inn was around 1. 5 miles. Food there was brilliant. We got an Uber taxi back as it was getting dark which cost £6. 00. But Holt farm itself was not great.
The drive up to it was concrete and looked like a sledge hammer had been taken to it so we were worried about our tyres.
The toilet area stunk of stagnant water. The toilets were clean but the 2 sinks weren't cleaned and had scum and dark, long hair on them both days we were there. There were 2 showers. One had a seat you could put your washing stuff but this was also filthy. The other just had a couple of hooks so apart from the ground there was no where to put shower gel ect. So not fit for purpose.
I was hoping this site would be one we could use a lot for a quick weekend away but that wasn't to be so id rate the site a 3 and that feels generous considering the state of the facilities. And the cafe was also closed the whole weekend. Sadly we wont be returning.

Loved the site, easy access to towpath walk. Easy walk to Napton on the Hill.
Only 39 miles from home, great venue for short break.
We were unable to use the cafe due to it only being open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but the convenience store in Napton serves coffee and various baguettes and pasties and has seats outside.

What a very lovely site. The owners were really friendly and the site itself was fantastic.
The showers were hot and facilities clean.
It was lovely being able to walk up the canal to the pub for a meal.

A lovely place with all amenities kept clean.
Lots of space and very peaceful but we went midweek just before children went back to school.
Lovely walk to Napton on the Hill at the side of the canal and the post office there doubles as a general store.
The host was friendly and helpful and we would stay again.

Well signposted, clean site.
Busy as you'd expect this time of year.
Check in was quick and host highly informative of local area.
Toilet and showers were spotless.
Only one negative - the inconsiderate group of adults who carried on talking loudly until 5am.

Brilliant venue people friendly and the atmosphere was great family camp site.
Good walk to the folly and the cider house. Worth a trip to the windmill.
Onsite cafe amazing too. Will be definitely better booking for next year.

Lovely spacious site. Arrived with my two dogs for a first practice at putting up my tent.
The ground is flat and grass with a good distance between pitches, I stayed on the EHU part.
There is a separate area for non-electric. The toilet/shower block is nice and clean and there is an emptying point for waste. Drinking water is available at a central point.
The site is located in a rural area away from any main roads as is beautifully peaceful.
Will definitely come again. Ul
