 Decent pitches, we got a hard standing this time.
It's a big site and the 1st week was quite full but never had to wait for showers etc.
It's right across the road from the beach and a 10 min drive into Newquay.
Mermaid pub is just across the road as well.

It's easy to get carried away by the splendid location of this site; that location probably has much to do with what we thought was the quite high daily cost. Other visitors told us that if you can find a rally then book with them; what might have been £50 per night will be only £17 per night !
However the facilities were very clean and plentiful as should be expected in exchange for the normal daily fee.
If you need to keep in touch do bear in mind that communication is limited by the "valley" position. The site promoted WiFi is about £25 for five days and several visitors thought it was next to useless. But they were towards the back of the site. Maybe it would be different elsewhere. Watching television was best achieved with a satellite dish; don't expect any stable results with an aerial. Unfortunately, not the fault of the site, the 4g signal was weak and intermittent;
Accordingly if, for you, or for the children, keeping in touch from your pitch is important maybe think carefully. A trip into Newquay for a visit to Costa Coffee is might be the best bet to keep up with e-mail, WhatsApp, Internet etc. Especially we learned if your pitch is at, or towards, the furthermost part of the site from the sea.
Otherwise it's a great place for a beach holiday. It has a bus stop outside the site entrance, a couple of coffee / pizza places near the bus stop, and a pub across the main road. The area has some good off-road walks. For example across the beach to join the cliff-top path to Newquay is three miles or so. Uphill on the first bit of the path, but a lovely walk.
We have visited this brilliantly situated site on three previous occasions over many years but think would only do so in future if we went as part of a rally to moderate the cost.

Excellent site across the road from a lovely beach.
Facilities are always clean and tidy. Showers, toilets, wash up area, launderette.
Different size pitches for all types of unit. WIFI availble at cost.
Can get very windy so secure your tents and awnings down well.
Pub opposite that serves food.
Walking distance to Newquay approx 40 mins, on bus route from Newquay to Padstow.
No playpark for kids.
Been there several times and will be back next year!

Quite a large site with a few full serviced pitches. We were on a grass pitch that was level with no drainage problems.
The toilet block is big with good showers.
The site is right across the road from Porth beach which is gorgeous. There's a pub right next to the beach which offers great views when sat outside. It's a short drive into Newquay with all you'd expect from a seaside resort.
We were with a rally so it was a decent price, I think the normal rates are quite high, our friends were charged more than double for an extra night

We used to love staying here and did so regularly as we only live 45 minutes away. That was until their prices got out of hand!
2 nights in October on grass was £54 booking direct AND they charge a booking fee online or over the phone! Really??
Anyway, the C&CC had a THS (temporary holiday site) here during October so we booked through them @ £17 per night - a bit of a difference!
We knew we'd be on grass (a pet hate of mine) but when we got there, and checked in via the C&CC steward, all the grass pitches were VERY boggy and most had deep grooves in them left by the last customer!
We did speak to the site warden and he didn't understand why we were not offered a hardstanding pitch (along with larger motorhomes) as there were at least 25/30 stood empty! We'd have been willing to pay a surcharge per night for this option. Surely it would've been better for their grass? We managed to get on a pitch (leaving grooves) and did get off OK, despite 2 days of heavy showers.
We also had an issue with no TV signal and no 4G signal at all.
We could've had their Wifi @ £5 per night but declined it.
Toilets and showers are now a bit dated but very clean all of the time.
Pub across the road (Mermaid) is looking very unloved and having read recent Trip Advisor reviews we decided not to bother, especially @ £6 a pint! We walked into Newquay and enjoyed 2 pints for £6. 35 in good old Wetherspoons.
The walks from the site are great and there's a bus stop right out side the site for those who need it.
We'd not been here since 2018 and were both really looking forward to it, but the issues disappointed us and so we would not return.

Court Farm Campsite - St Austell
Set within four acres of woodland with spectacular countryside views, this site offers the perfect caravanning and camping experience for all ages. It was our first time to this campsite lovely and clean very quiet. Clean showers and toilets.
But very disappointed that it’s dog friendly park but you couldn’t take the dog on the beach between the hours of 09. 30/1800 hrs but the cove of either side you could.
But unless your quite fit person and like walking up steep hills you had to take the car then pay a min charge £4.50 to park the car.
The pitches were very spacious but only electric not fully serviced.
No park on site for children.
Myself personally I found it very expensive to stay here £446.00 for a week in our own caravan.

Just returned from this great site been there for many years now, love the proximity to the beach.
Newquay town is a 20 minute walk away, and great cliff walks to Watergate beach (good for the surfing) Brittish weather was Mixed. But that is expected.
***One point I would like to mention is that having booked this years holiday Last year (2020) we got it at 2020 prices, however looked into booking again for later this year (September) and found prices are over DOUBLE what we paid last September. (attempt to regain Covid losses??)***

As a Family we have been visiting porth beach for 15 years, Great site Great Location just 100 Metres to the beach. Very helpful staff and very clean facilities.
This trip was unPlanned we just turned up and booked in on arrival.
The only reason that my rating of the site was not 10/10 all round is that the Prices for this year have been Hiked by 60% over 2020 prices. We paid £467 for our stay, whereas Last year 2020 in May we paid £281

We love porth beach tourist park. Have done for the last 10yrs
Lovely family park,
Beach just across the road
Lovely flat pitches, very clean toilets, showers, laundry,
Security barriers, and the pub on the beach, the mermaid. Entertainment food and of cause drinks, what more could you wish for. Staff friendly and very helpful nothing too much trouble.
Newquay just a short way away, and a bus stop just out side the site. Wifi and a decent tv reception
Watergate, st mawgan, mawgan bay, st evel, go carting.
We give this park a 100/per cent. Will be there next year hopefully xxx.

Lovely site in a great location, access to wondrous Beaches and walks.
Facilities are all modern and clean.
Downsides, no Motorhome Grey waste points I could get to but that’s minor.
The issue we had is there is nowhere to exercise Dogs. Nowhere on site, the empty car park signs said no and the Beach is not Dog friendly unless before 9 am and after 5 am. One Lady near us got a £100 fine as didn’t see the no dog signs so be warned.
Otherwise a great site in a great location.
