 It was simply wonderful. A beautiful meadow where you could choose your own spot, with nice neighbors and a very warm, personal welcome from the host, Bill.
The facilities were complete, clean, and perfectly adequate, though simple and basic. An ideal spot for a stopover.
A pub is just a few minutes away.

Es war einfach wunderbar. Eine wunderschöne Wiese zur freien Platzwahl mit netten Nachbarn und einer sehr herzlichen und persönlichen Begrüßung durch den Gastgeber Bill. Die Einrichtungen waren vollständig, sauber und vollkommen ausreichend, aber dennoch einfach und spartanisch. Idealer Platz zur Durchreise. Pub in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

A brilliant clean and tidy campsite. In a very lovely farming community but only 3 miles from York.
Pub 5 minutes walk away.
Well kept friendly site.
Hot water in showers and washing up facilities.
Fridge and freezer available. Washing machine and drier. Free WiFi. Electric hook up available.

Fabulous site peaceful clean and quiet,
Showers and toilets spotless, wash up facility clean also use of fridge freezer an microwave,
5 min walk to ship pub good food and ales also bus stop for york or river bus for a sailing to york,

Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful but only a short walk to the local pub, with lovely food, and a bus stop that takes you to the center of York.
The site has good clean facilities, hot shower, hairdryer and washing up area with fridge and microwave.
Owner was very helpful.
Would definitely go back.

So easy to book. We stayed end of May start of June, Friday & Saturday night.
Roger was so lovely and so helpful. He advised us of the local pubs and boat trips.
The site was so well looked after & peaceful.
It had swings for young children, wi-fi, 2 toilets and a shower for the ladies & hairdryer.
A family room, smalll kitchen and fridge to use if you have no access to 1.
I would highly recommend to anyone for a quiet weekend away camping.
Its location is ideal if you want to visit York or races etc.
We are definitely going to visit again.

Lovely little site.
Toilets and shower was clean. Washing up sink and fridge freezer also available for campers.
Short drive to Park and Ride sites.

Close to lovely village pub, cycle route and water taxi into York.
Lovely owners.

This site, although compared to other sites in the area, is quite small, is spotless
The shower block inc toilets are always clean. whenever I used them found the floors were always dry and clean.
Pot washing area was also very clean and tidy.
Free wifi also included
The site itself is only a 5 minute walk to either the river bus or local bus into York city.
All in all would definitely recommend this site to other campers/ motorhome owners.

Small friendly site and spotlessly clean with great walks, and good pubs nearby,
Handy bus into York, or a ferry boat to York,
we've been to the site several times and always enjoyed it.
