 Enjoyed our stay at Birchbank.
Freedom to roam and wander amongst the animals.
Very peaceful and relaxing.
Didn't really see our hosts at all.
Could get any supplies.

Fantastic campsite. Very clean.
We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely visit again.
Great location only 10 miles away from Coniston lake.

Lovely site, beautiful location.
You have to accept that you will hear cows mooing and cockerels crowing regularly
But if you’re happy for the sounds of a working farm to go in around you then you’ll love it here.

An idyllic site, miles from anywhere.
Loved the scenery and the peace and quiet.
Very well maintained, the owner Linda works endlessly to keep the facilities clean. She's very welcoming and always has time for a chat if that's what you'd like.

Lovely little site in a beautiful location, so quiet and peaceful, warm welcome on arrival.
Very well kept, toilet/ shower facilities always nipping clean.
Would highly recommend.

This farm campsite is off the beaten track but easy to get to. The welcome was warm and the hosts explained about the facilities. Hook up was easy and effective and our pitch was a good size.
There were several other campers, families, young couples and older couples all spaces out well.
Facilities were good, with showers, toilets and a washing up room. The site was quiet enough (apart from somebody snoring 😂) and the walks and views were absolutely breath taking on all sides.
Seeing the clear starry skies was just wonderful. We will definitely be going back.

This is an excellent quiet site in a delightful location.
The facilities are good and adequate for the size of the site - we never had to queue for the showers.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely campsite, off the beaten track, immaculately clean and very Covid aware with plenty of space left between campers.
Good showers and toilets, friendly and helpful owner, wonderful views of the fells. Very reasonably priced.
It’s on a working farm, we were treated to the bonus of seeing a calf being born.

Beautiful campsite. Had lovely couple of days.
Very quiet and in middle of nowhere but all the better for it.
Didn’t move van as loads of walks from site.
