 Probably the best campsite I've been to.
The views were outstanding the facilities were very clean.
Could do with a shop or cafe.

Gorgeous campsite in a beautiful setting which offers an ideal base for exploring snowdonia.
The facilities are fairly basic (just one shower/toilet block, laundry and outdoor pot washing facilities) but all were clean and provided everything you need to explore this beautiful part of the world.
One point to be aware is that with the gorgeous lakeside setting comes midgies. Our first night they were particularly bad so would recommend going prepared. The 2nd night was a bit breezier so nowhere near as bad so we could have just been unlucky.
Overall would highly recommend and will definitely consider snowdon base camp for future trips

The campsite is set in a beautiful location with stunning views.
The facilities are really good & well maintained.
A great place to stay for all the family & dog friendly.
I would highly recommend this site & we will be returning.

Glanllyn is situated on the shore of Lake Bala in Wales. 16 acres of natural parkland and spectacular views of nearby hills and mountains make it an idyllic spot to pitch a caravan, motorhome, tent or campervan with level grass or hardstanding pitches. For water sports enthusiasts there is a private shingle beach with easy launching area for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. Camp shop, wifi, laundrette, excellent heated toilet & shower facilities. The market town of Bala is 3 miles away with plenty of small shops, pubs & retaurants, cinema and a leisure centre. Absolutely love this campsite.
Incredible location at the bottom of mount snowdon. It has such a relaxing, quiet feel to the campsite.
The shower block and toilets are warm, clean and ideal for camping.
We will visit again as soon as possible.

Best campsite we have been to!
Definitely will be staying again.
Shower facilities perfect - never too busy.
Washing up sinks and fire pits all round for everyone to use.
Will be recommending to others.

This is a lovely campsite, spacious, lots of different camping areas, close to the lake or stream or tucked away next to the raised board walk.
The facilities are excellent, well designed, lashings of hot water for showers and pot washing.
The numerous picknick tables are a real bonus.
The only issue is there is absolutely no signal, even Watts app was not reliable. However, I think it is a bonus!

Friendly owner, fantastic views. Check in at the pub down the road before going on to the campsite.
Toilets and showers were fine, the site was busy but never had to queue.
The only thing lacking was a freezer for cool-packs which would enable a longer stay for those without ehu.
Be aware there are no vehicles permitted on the camping fields. There are wheeled trollies to transport your gear but best to travel light!
