 Lovely site stayed there for the weekend, me and the OH were impressed with the shower facilities they are very very nice and did not have to queue at all.
Large space to pitch a tent as well and the mobile broadband is very fast, meant we could watch bbc iplayer in the evening.
Good location as well, not very from all major attraction and about 30 mins from Norwich.
Would definatly stay here again and recommend it to anyone

An excellent site , thought hard about whether to share it or just to keep it to myself, but in short it is one of the best sites we have been on and will certainly be back.
All pitches were level and neatly cut, there was a spacious feel compared to some sites. Toilets and showers are excellent once I worked out how to adjust the temperature, they were always hot and spotless even on a bank holiday week.
The owners were extremely helpful throughout. We went with 3 big dogs (bernese) and this was not a problem in fact more units had dogs than didn't, the dog walks from the site were excellent but of course keeping them under control and cleaning up were essential .
A short drive up the road provides you with a pub that does food and also doubles as a chinese take away the latter being highly recomended and in the same place is a fish and chip resturant eat in or take away. Both were recomended by the site owners and lived up to the recomendation. In short you won't be disappointed.

Have just spent two nights at this lovely peaceful site. We were greeted by a friendly lady with a nice smile on the reception and were then shown to our pitch which was number 76 by yet another cheerful chap! The pitches are very spacious and the site was tidy. As previous comments stated the toilets and showers were immaculate I would say the best I have seen for quite sometime.
I did not make use of the fishing lake however a few people did, and it seemed to be well stocked as there were plenty of fish being caught. Whilst walking our dog we saw deer which also made our stay very special. We have booked up and will be returning on August 1st this is certainly one of our favourites.

Just got back from sunny Norfolk and I have to say this site is just cracking!
Firstly very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pitches with plenty of room to match with pretty views in all directions. Mostly woodland.
The facilities are undoubtedly the best I've ever come across, ever! You could be mistaken for thinking you were staying in a hotel like Travel lodge, Premier inn or similar. Even some mood lighting to finish things off, really quite unbelievable. And no extra charge either! Showers are super powerful as well. Just brilliant. There is a playsite for the kids, loads of space for them to run about in as well, also a shop with basic necessities and local info as well.
Very peaceful surrounds, no radios etc late into the night. Prices very good as well.
Fishing pond onsite absolutely packed with fish. This is just the type of pond to get those youngsters catching. Possibly a fish a chuck, on Maggot anyway. So pack the rods! (I didn't)
Not far to the Broads, the Sea or Norwich basically for North Norfolk I'd say stay here look no further. Have fun.

This is a truely beautiful, peaceful site. We stayed for six nights and despite heavy rain and an amazing thunderstorm one night, nothing could spoil our enjoyment. It's not an all singing all dancing site, there's a small shop and lovely clean facilities. My husband and son took advantage of the fishing lake, and we enjoyed a nice walk through the woods to see the deers in a nearby field.
Nice location with good access for Cromer. We particularly liked Sheringham and for dog owners, there is a fantastic beach at Sea Palling, where dogs are welcome on a large section of the beach, with a seperate area for non-dogs!
Would definitely go back, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Very friendly & helpful owners. Not over generous hard standing pitch, had van tight to one side and not enough room to park car next to it and still open doors without hitting van or stepping onto wet muddy grass (it did rain!), nor was there enough room to park at the front of the pitch without blocking the road, fortunately we we're only one off the end of a 'siding' with nobody wanting to get past.
Toilet facilities are first class although we won't be visiting in holiday season as we don't believe they will be adequate to cope with the number of pitch's (Two blocks with only two sitters and two showers in each of the gents). Internet access is not free but cheaper than openzone or the like (just!). Nice attempt at everything you could want from a campsite spoilt by the feeling of squeezing use out of every last square inch. We would use this site again but only in low season.

Visited this site for a weekend. The reception was first class, shown where to pitch and given all the info. I don't usually go on about toilets and showers but this is an exception; they were absolutely perfect and free. All the hot water you could use, hair dryer and plenty of soap.
As for the noise mentioned in a previous review, if you can hear it you must have blinking good hearing. I tried to hear the mentioned noise but failed, all I could hear was birds and unfortunately plenty of good old British wind.
The pitch was big enough for the worst reverser of a caravan to get in and lots of room for an awning and a car.
Scenery is peaceful and there are plenty of good walks. We visited a local fish and chips shop a couple of miles towards Cromer on the main road: excellent and I don't use that word easily. Bottom line is this is a fine site well worth a visit and if you don't live too close to the area it would make a good holiday retreat. Finally, if you have children there is plenty of space for them to play.

Just got back from a glorious weekend here. Lovely laid out site, pitches huge, although re-seeding had commenced. A minibus to the local pub was one big advantage, The Spread Eagle which served lovely food, so good we ate there on Sat nite too.
Immaculate shower/toilet facilities. Staff so so friendly, will definitely revisit. Saw loads of red deer.
There was a Mazda Bongo meet the weekend we were there but we didn't have a problem with that, they were a really friendly bunch of people who all rallied around to help with our tent.
A1 site.

What a fantastic site, one well worth visiting. Was met by very friendly staff whom remained so throughout our stay. Best shower and toilet facilities I've ever used on a campsite with underfloor heating, what a treat. My hard-standing pitch overlooking the fishing lake was more than adequate for our caravan and car with plenty of room to sunbathe and admire the view, when we weren't visiting near by attractions or being chauffeured to and from the pub by the free mini bus service. Pub food was excellent and would def eat there again. . . . . . Didn't even mind the noise of kids from the excellent playground ground and sand pit available to them.
All in all a particularly great weekend and a site I highly recommend to anyone with or without kids and pets

I booked this site for a 3 night trip to see friends in nearby North Walsham. I was impressed that the majority of reviews were positive, and although I agree with a lot, there are a few negatives.
Upon arrival (paying mid-season prices) we were well greeted by friendly staff. We were shown our pitch and here's where our first disappointment occurred. They had already started their winter works and had reseeded half of our pitch! Our tent is quite large and there wouldn't have been room for our tent and car. I would have also felt as if we were pitched on the road! We went back to the office and were helped in choosing somewhere else - which wasn't an actual pitch! I would have expected this when paying low-season rates.
The toilets were immaculate and very warm! No complaints here at all. Showers free, with adjustable temperature (great when you have kids) and a tap to turn it off and on, instead of a motion sensor or push button. The block was even cleaned during the night!
My first night was a bit of a nightmare, but this was due to my 7-year-old being a bit unsettled (we're still quite new at camping and it was a new tent), but looked forward to the second night as things would be more familiar and we were using the free minibus to the pub!
During the next day, a Bongo meet had arrived. Not a problem, so we thought.
The pub was a bit overpriced and disappointing. My meal was terrible and we thought they'd given us a discount. Unfortunately my husband couldn't fit onto the minibus back so went in for another drink and they stung us for the desserts we thought they'd given us for free. Nice idea, but not the greatest of places I've eaten at. Won't be going back there.
By the time we'd all returned to the tent it was about 9.15 and there was one Bongo owner with their TV blaring out and another in competition with his radio. After such a bad night before, the children luckily went to sleep despite the noise, but at gone 11pm, the TV and radio were still blaring. TV went off at about 11.30pm, radio stayed on all night and then parties started across the field. I didn't get much sleep that night, either.
Apparently there seems to be no all-quiet rule. I have stayed in places without one before, and at about 11pm voices become hushed and considerate towards people who don't want to stay up all night. Not here.
Not sure if we'd stay again. It is perfect in it's position to our friends, the facilities are clean and tidy and the staff friendly, but our experience hasn't been great.

We've just returned from our first of (hopefully) many visits to Deersglade and had a fantastic time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and quickly offered an extension lead for the hook-up as ours wasn't long enough.
The shower, toilet and washing up facilities were first class - exceptionally clean every time. Our pitch was massive so we had plenty of space - especially when it came to packing up to go home.
The site was lovely and quiet - the large conifer trees around served as a useful sound barrier from the busy main road which was a little way away. We were out exploring the region during the day so can only comment on the site during the evening.
The only negative point is the fact that you need a car to get around no matter where you want to go to but having said that its only a minor point and the positives are far greater.
Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed at this campsite at the beginning of September.
Plus points: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The ablution block is new, well decorated and clean with plenty of hot water. There are two blocks on the site and I never queued for a toilet or shower. I also understand from those there that fished that the fishing lake was good and well stocked.
Negative points: Some visitors were disappointed by the fact that the site wasn't that rural. Your actually about 300 yards from the A140 so if your in a tent the road noise can keep you awake. Your also under the main flight path for the helicopters going from Norwich Airport out to the oil and gas rigs. Your additionally right next to a farm; the farmer started ploughing at 7am on Saturday morning and the continual agricultural drone went on all day. It is worth bearing in mind that if your visiting in the summer holidays you may have the agricultural noises of harvest going on.
The tents and caravans are mixed up a bit so you did get a slight clash of interests. I.E campers trying to get away from it all, caravans having a home from home.
There are also no views to be had, your in the middle of a forest clearing so all you can see are conifers.
We won't be going back again I think, but we are looking for a quiet spot with good views. Some of the people there keep going back; they seemed to be primarily fishermen.

Just returned from our 4th visit here! We've been here in the rain and sunshine and every time we are greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The shower/toilet facilities are always clean. Our kids love it here! They go off to the playground and makes friends every time and you really feel that they are safe. I have no problems in recommended this to everyone. This was a great end to the kids holidays. Went fishing, walking in the woods to see the deer, rode their bikes. Lots to do in this area but most of the time the kids just want to stay on site! We love it here and will be going back again and again if we can.

Just returned home very chilled after a lovely bank holiday weekend stay. They were fully booked when I first contacted them however I left my home telephone and to my surprise they had a cancellation and we were in. For a fully booked weekend it was pleasantly spacious. No queuing for the showers and perfectly clean. This was the second time we stayed there and was just as exciting. We highly recommend. Make use of the minibus to the pub. 5 stars all the way

First time at site, weather was great (lucky).The staff are very really and helpful. Always plenty of hot water in very clean shower block which is cleaned twice a.Day. Fishing was ok but I have had better. My only moan was the campers with dogs who took their dogs to the woods and never cleaned up after them, I had my two dogs with me and cleaned up every time. The site owners do walk the woods and clean up every couple of days but they should not have to. Message to those dog owners clean it up if you have a dog like most of us do.
Lovely site in beautiful settings.
