Lovely small, clean and friendly site with beautiful sea and Whitby Abbey views.
Good location for visiting Whitby and Scarborough, with Robin Hood's Bay within walking distance.

We stayed in glorious weather in April 2023 for 9 nights. The site is ideal in respect of it's a rural location.
Facilities are excellent and the hosts are very helpful and friendly.
It's close to Whitby and there are great views of the abbey and surrounding area as it on top of a hill.
There are also lots of other lovely places within 10 to 15 miles of the site and a good bus service for linear walks to be completed by parking in one area and using the bus to take you to the starting point of your walk.
There's a good mix of cliff, flat and hilly walks to explore and plenty to do in the evenings if you want to.
For meals Brambles Bistro near to the sea front in Robin Hood's Bay is highly recommended but bear in mind you'll probably need to book a taxi for the walk up the steep hills to get back to the site.
We'll definitely return.

Good location for cycling/walking, although there are some steep banks to tackle for the less mobile.
We were given good local knowledge reference cycling/walking trails from Alex
The site was clean with good clean facilities. Pitches were spacious enough.
The nearest pub and shop is about 1 mile away, but be aware it is down a quite steep hill.
There was a nice utility area if required with sinks, fridge, and I think a microwave.
Robin Hoods Bay is walkable, but again be aware it is very hilly, and we cycled into Whitby along the 'Cinder Path 'which was a very pleasant route.
Would recommend a visit to this site.

Excellent location and small site with very good clean facilities.
The gentleman who greeted us was very helpful and friendly.
The site was quiet and spacious.
A fridge washing up facility and microwave all added to the positive experience.
Robin Hoods Bay walkable (easy downhill - slightly more energetic return !).
The nearest pub is a steep hill (on way to Rubin hoods bay) about a mile from campsite - nearest ‘corner shop’ is there too.
Whitby is close by with a Sainsburys/Aldi on the main road about 5-10 mins drive away.

Lovely campsite with spacious well presented pitches.
The facilities are always clean and adequate. The views are amazing.
It is a bit secluded, the nearest pub / shop is about a mile away and down a very steep quiet country lane. Ok if you are active or fit.
The Cinder Track is fantastic for cycling and walking, and there is the Cleveland coastal walk, which is fantastic.
Overall we had a great break.

On arrival we met Alex who made us feel very welcome and gave us all the information about the site.
The site was in a very picturesque setting with magnificent views of Whitby Abbey and the sea.
The site had everything you needed with excellent toilet and shower facilities.
A small friendly site with generous pitch sizes for tents caravans and campervans.
Dogs welcome, they even had their own exercise field.
We will be back for another visit soon

Friendly owners on this beautiful well maintained campsite with amazing views.
Optional plots with electric but we went off grid.
Communal kitchen offers a microwave, fridge/freezer, huge sink for washing up with hot/cold water.
Separate block for 1 ladies toilet and shower and same for gents.
Pitches well spaced out.
We would highly recommend and will be returning.

My partner and me stayed here for 2 nights, we absolutely loved it!
It was close very close to the town, all bars, attractions was nearby which was great and handy.
The people that own the campsite were lovely and really helpful.
Beautiful scenery!
It's just a shame that the tap water in the toilets were cold, dryer and shower facilities are not in use, although we are made aware about not being able to shower.
I really do recommend though! Excellent price!

Nice quiet site with mix of hwe and gwe. There is a view of Whitby and the Abbey across the lovely green fields.
The toilet and shower rooms were spotless. Water and waste points available. Friendly owners.
We used the site while touring in our campervan and hit the sights of Whitby the after a stay over.
One night stay was £23 with hook up.
