Lovely site in a great location with beautiful views - close to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay.
The site is small and quiet and the facilities are kept really clean.
The owner is also extremely helpful (he saved us from being stranded on the North Yorks Moors by lending us his trailer tyres!).
Highly recommend

Great for cleanliness, solitude, views, & Larma in next field. Quiet charm, but otherwise an unsophisticated site. Only 5 hardstanding pitches the rest on a grass field, (could be a problem in wet weather), but all with Electric hook up.
Sea breezes/wind keep temperatures down.
A working farm, so can expect the usual noises & smells.
A fair walk downhill to Robinhood's bay (25mins) and steep climb back. Not for the unfot
Regular buses to Whitby from RBH (20mins).
No drain for grey water discharge from a van holding tank.
Great if looking for solitude and basic but clean facilities

Really nice little place with amazing views, and Alex was really helpful with my enquiry and providing me with information for the area.
Theres an alpaca and a random sheep in the field opposite that are quit comical to watch.

Lovely site with extremely clean toilets and showers.
But. At £25 a night. The Abbey is a very distant view.
And unfortunately we hit harvesting season on a very busy farm. Tractors at 7. 30am with combines to follow. The smell of a manure pile at the back of us with lots of noise all day!
We wouldn't have minded but there was nothing in the write up about it being a busy farm and the camping field being right in the middle.
Place was lovely but needs to be advertised correctly to avoid thinking you may have a quiet holiday near the Abbey !
