The most stunning location with incredible views.
The owner was friendly and helpful.
The toilet/shower facilities were fairly basic, the shower being only 2. 5 minutes for £1.

Traigh na Beirigh was excellent in all respects aided by ideal weather.
Fin was an excellent host and made me feel welcome.
The facilities were clean and well maintained.
The £1 for the shower was very reasonable and gave one plenty of time for a good wash.

This campsite is located on Reef Beach with white sands & clear blue sea. The toilets & showers are dated but very clean.
There is a £1 for the shower. A small food shack is open next to the site selling hot & cold food (but not every day). Fin, the owner is lovely & really helpful.
Certainly would visit again.

Absolutely beautiful site. The beach and view of mountains is unparalleled! Pitches were clearly assigned and easily findable upon arrival.
The facilities are very limited, but clean enough. The coin operated shower runs for maybe two minutes per pound, so make sure to bring loads of coins so you don't end up covered in conditioner or shaving cream trying to wash it off in the sink (saw multiple instances of this). Bring your own hand soap, as often there is none.
The pitches can be hit or miss. We unfortunately got assigned one that was very uneven for a large 6 person tent, and which immediately flooded when the rains started. We ended up moving the tent in the rain and sleeping on a fairly steep slope to escape it. There are other, better located, pitches for tents so it may be the luck of the draw.

Pros: This site is in a beautiful location overlooking the white sands of Riof beach and is a quiet site where you can chill and relax. Finn couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and is full of local knowledge.
Cons: the toilet block is very dated and badly needs some money spent on it. The showers are on a pay machine basis and £1 gives you less than 3 mins of a lukewarm very low pressure shower.
There is no where to put your clothes, towel etc when you’re in the shower apart from one wall hook, it could also do with a thorough clean. Pieces of toilet paper on the floor when we arrived were still there when we left three days later.

Gorgeous beach front site. One of the most beautiful beaches ever.
A fairly basic site but with everything needed, it’s all about the situation! Good value.
Bonus that when we were there it coincided with the mobile sauna being there too. Lovely experience.

Drive from Tarbert Ferry was certainly worth it. What a beautiful beach stunning with the campsite itself being fantastically positioned‼️
What let the site down slightly was the toilet block & showers. I use my Dryrobe when going to showers which is what you need to do at this sight as the water does not drain properly in the showers. Floors are often very wet with minimal hooks. There was no cleaning items to encourage people to use ie Shower Water Scraper or Mop. Noticed the toilet roll was being replenished but did not see the block being cleaned.
Its a busy campsite & well used so these small attention to detail would make this site even better.
Would definitely go back as I believe the owner is working hard to make improvements and sure feedback will be taken on board.

Beautiful location right on the beach. We couldn’t have asked to be in a better place. Good pitch with hookup one water nearby.
However the facilities let this site down unfortunately. Showers and toilets are in need of updating. The shower is on a meter and you only get 3 mins meaning you just don’t get enough time to wash your hair and body before you have to get out of the shower into the main toilet area to put another pound in.
Unfortunately the meter is right by the door which opens onto the area where people of the opposite sex are going to their toilets! Not ideal.
There aren’t enough showers for the amount of people on the site and they really need an update.
On location I’d score a ten but the facilities let this place down

Good toilets and dish washing facilities.
Showers were serviceable but slightly cold.

Fantastic location, got a pitch over looking the beach which was an awesome beach with really white sand.
Went for loads of great dog walks on there. Facilities were basic but clean (there was never soap in the ladies though, so take your own).
The only issue I found with the facilities was the location of the showers, you can't take your stuff in the cubicle and while I went in the shower someone came in and left the door open, the door is right where you get out the shower so was really not ideal. It was fine the next time, having realised this I went in my changing robe and chucked it over the shower curtain pole, that was fine.
This listing suggests there's a laundry room, there isn't - but you can get it done at the community shop in Uig 5 miles down the road which also sells everything else you might need.
Had an amazing time here and would visit again. The guy running it was very nice.
The raider trailer at the beach does amazing burgers and other food when he's open.

This campsite is simply stunning! The facilities are good, hot showers and indoor washing up area.
Fin who runs it is friendly and helpful.
If you need EHU book in advance to ensure a pitch as they are limited.
Can get windy but adds to the experience.
Uig has a great community shop.
Once you’ve stayed here you’ll definitely come back, guaranteed!
Fin comes around each day, cash only.

Amazing setting, sat watching gannets diving into the water.
Super scenery driving there from the main road, definitely worth the detour.
Facilities basic but clean and working. Campers kitchen looked good.
Roads very narrow if you are driving a big vehicle.

The location can't be beaten, right on the stunning beach. Fantastic views from the sea front pitches, but no EHU on those pitches if you need that.
Fin was great at communication and responded to emails very quickly. Pitch number was on display on arrival.
Ground is very uneven and leveling blocks will be required.
Toilets /showers look a bit worn out and no toilet roll in the ladies toilet!

Lovely camp site, in a beautiful place right next to a stunning empty beach with turquoise sea. Even on a wet and windy day.
Finn was friendly, go and see the memorial to the - Roiff Raiders.
