 Stayed here because we had friends who own a static on site.
Fabulous site.
Facilities spotless.
Great park for the children.
Good communication from site owners.
Will be visiting again!

The site was lovely and clean but I think they have a few teething problems. Elsan was disgusting. the kids on the field constantly on bikes and other things very dangerous. pool wasn’t open till the Friday so we didn’t get to use it
There should be a bucket and mop in the toilet area when you come out of the shower it’s crotamation
The price we paid was very expensive but when they get everything running right it should be a very good site

Excellent facilities which are clean and tidy! Pitch had plenty of space around them and well drained 👍🏻
The owner was very friendly and did patrols to make sure everyone was in check at night and told a few campers to quieten down that where being a little load!

The camp site initially looked good & to be fair it was kept clean
Someone mentioned it was being night patrolled, well they must be sadly mistaken as I had no power for quite a few hours for a couple of nights & kids were playing till the very early hours of the morning, mmm no night watchman to be seen & no number to complain, so after an initial impression it got To where we moved our tourer to a new site that was more helpful.

We enjoyed our stay in August 2019. The site is well looked after and toilet and shower facilities were modern and cleaned regularly.
We were given the choice to pitch our tent on the top field or on the park field, we chose the pitch marked as number 5 on the children park field which was slightly sloping.
We soon realised that the ground under the grass was all rock and had difficulty pecking. This is not a negative comment as we chose this pitch as it was closer to the toilets even though we had our own porta loo.
We originally booked 7 nights but left after 6 nights as the weather forecast for the last day was thunder and heavy rain. During our stay the wind was very heavy at times, luckily we had spare guide, normal ropes and wind breaker which we used to secure the tent.
The electric hook up also worked well and didn't trip once. The location was good for visiting places in Anglesey and north wales. Our teenagers enjoyed the arcade and spent a lot of time on the football pitches.
One small moan was a problem with the dish washing facilities light which seemed to have a mind of its own if you go in the dark, some times its on, others off and I couldn't find a switch. The staff were friendly and helpful and we found the shop useful.
We enjoyed our time there and would visit again! Thanks Nant Newydd.

We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay. Nant Newydd is a very pretty site and all staff we encountered were polite and friendly.
The site caters very well for children. Our child loved the pool, even though it wasn’t heated. The games room was a hit and both parks were great too. We didn’t look at the bike tracks, sports courts or zip wire but it’s great to have so much on one site.
The downsides are that the tent field is so far from the toilets block, showers & dishwashing. The toilets are only cleaned once a day and didn’t always have soap or toilet roll. The showers are cold both at the pool and the toilet block. The showers only stay on for 5 seconds before switching off so this makes showering a difficult task. There are only two sinks to wash up.
We definitely felt that the site is aimed more for caravans and not tents for this reason we wouldn’t rush to return (if at all). If an additional toilet/shower block with dish washing facilities were added to the top camping field then I’m sure we’d revisit as it’s a great site for children.

This is a lovely campsite in Anglesey. Grass pitches with EHU. We were on bottom field near the kids play park but felt we were in a rather odd position. Most caravans around the edge but we seemed to be in the middle but it was ok.
Campsite also has a top field which looked ok but further away from WC/Park/Swimming pool. Outside swimming pool was supposed to be heated but water was freezing- but it had only been filled up the day before. WC/shower blocks are nothing posh but nice and clean.
Play Park, tennis court, games room, outside swimming pool all great things to keep kids entertained. Good location to explore Anglesey.

We stayed here in August this year, I had booked for 10 nights but we only stayed for 4 nights.
The toilets are a 1/3 mile walk away which is ridiculous! How are you meant to go to the toilet if you need it in the middle of the night. The toilets were always a mess and the men’s toilets very dirty with poo smeared and the like. Only cleaned once per day at most, the showers were very dirty as well.
Not enough facilities for all the tents and caravan pitches on the site. The shop sold very little and was expensive. Games room full of broken machines, half were not even switched on. We were also sited next to a very aggressive family who were constantly shouting and swearing at their poor kids.
We couldn’t wait to leave. No WiFi anywhere on site, nothing in walking distance to the site. Terrible! We have made a complaint but received no reply! paid £38. 50 per night for the tent pitch, most expensive site I have ever been to.

There is lots of like about this site such as the swimming pool, clean toilets and showers, play area and games room. The atmosphere is family focused and there is even a cycle track and football pitch. We would certainly put this site on our 'return again list'.
Thankfully for us we had a pitch near the toilets (play area) otherwise we would have to walk a good 10 minutes to use the facilities. The toilet block is next to static caravans and miles away from the campers. This needs to change.
Also the site is not within walking or cycling distance (road too busy for cyclists) to the local town and beach. This isn't a great minus and has nothing to do with the site.
Overall a good site if they could just move the location of the toilet/shower block for those that need it.

Absolutely lovely campsite, showers and toilets always clean all areas clean and well maintained, plenty of space for the kids to run around with parks and a games room to keep them entertained.
The only one criticism I have is that no fire pits are allowed to be used other than that it's a cracking place which is well looked after by the owners and if the fire pit rule was changed I would use this campsite a few times a year as it's local to us.
