Just returned from Anglesey and found this site to be excellent. (shame I can't say the same about the weather). The site is superbly maintained and the toilets / showers are spotless. I noticed prior to visiting that other reviewers mentioned the distance from the camp field to the toilets. No more than a 2 minute walk really, 30 seconds on a bike.
The swimming pool was great, very warm even on a cold, damp day, shop well stocked and reasonably priced, and staff very helpful.
A day trip to Ireland is also a must for anyone on holiday on Anglesey.

Found the site on UKCampsite, rang them up on the Friday morning & arrived in the afternoon after confirming they had vacancies, on arrival the owner was having her lunch told us to pitch where we would like (tent with electric hook up) & just nip down to the office after six & "pay my brother" we were instructed.
The site is well maintained.
Toilet blocks are spotless as was the site, plenty for the kids (12 & 14).
Central to Anglesey to get out & about.
To sum up: Lovely site, friendly and helpful owners, recommend to anyone.

We visted Nant Newydd for a two night stay with our two young children. The site was clean, well landscaped and has good play areas for the children. The touring field is a long walk from the washrooms (if as in our case the weather is bad). The site was a little noisy up to about midnight as we were camped near by a single sex group (not allowed on some family sites).

We found this site on UKCampsite.co.uk and WOW what a site. I have never been to a site so clean, modern & excellent facilities. We camped on the top field in front of the playground so our children could play and be seen. The views from there across the Anglesey countryside were stunning. The toilet and shower block were very, very clean and warm. The outdoor heated pool was fabulous, it was like sitting on a sun terrace abroad, again very clean and tidy.
The site is well run and maintained beautifully.
This site is a must for anyone who wishes to relax, have fun and a treat for the children.
Almost forgot, you can't miss the site as there is 2 massive highland cattle at the gate. Bill & Ben!
We will be booking again very very soon.

Forgot to mention about the lovely restaurant that we found at St Davids Bay. The Old Boat House. Lovely food, great place, went there twice. It was a 10 minute drive from Nant Newydd site.

This was our first camping trip and what a great success. A lovely site, flat area for tent. Great facilities for our small children. Pool fantastic and clean. Toilets and showers clean (a bit far away though from camping area). Will definately go back - it will be hard to find another site to match up to this one!

We stayed here for a wonderful long weekend, we did have fantastic weather which helps but this site is lovely, clean and very beautiful. Landscaped gardens and walks for the dog. Lovely swimming pool which is great for the kids. There is no pub on the site, we walked to the local pub, dont go there, the food was horrible and the service was terrible, we waited an hour for our food. The staff were all miserable. We did have a nice drive out to a pub near to the Menai bridge, excellent food.
We shall go back again next year.
The toilets are a good walk away from the tenting field but the exercise does you good and they were cleaned twice a day!!!!

Easter week 2003
Lovely site, friendly and helpful owners. The heated outdoor pool was most enjoyable on the better days, (weather not too brilliant). Took husband, dog and teenager, all happy chappies with site facilities. Laundrette clean and adequate, showers really nice and clean, as were the toilets ... only fly in the ointment - the ladies a bit far from the campsite.
Quiet, restful and really peaceful, came away feeling very relaxed.

We stayed here over easter, nice clean site, toilets clean, though far away from touring area, statics at the front of the site, landscape nice. Touring field we pitched on was great, plenty of hookups, water etc, however when it rained overnight, touring area was awash with mud, realised only 2 inches of soil. Games room was a barn cum shed with no heating, great for summer, freezing for colder months, shop well stocked, and open from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm. Overall a good site quiet site for summer warmer weather, but steer clear if weather forecast is not good you will found yourselves muddy, wet and damp. Only 1 dryer for the whole of this large site.
