Lovely well drained grass site. Some pitches slightly sloping, some not. Facilities clean. Small site which is right up our street. Received a friendly and informative welcome on arrival. Pitches reasonably priced as surrounding area is beautiful. Thank you for allowing us to stay with the 3 hooligans. Hope to see you again.

We were two men in our 70s walking the Norfolk Coast Path with small one man tents. Agree with all the previous review comments; a delightful site, well run and not big commercial attitude by the very friendly and agreeable owners. Adjacent is a Caravan Club CL site which one of us intends to return to with his wife and is open all year. The Norfolk Coasthopper bus runs past the site with bus stops about 100m to the West of the main entrance, past the Military Museum frontage and from where there is a permissive public footpath through woodland to the coast; an alternative to walking along the road to Weybourne. Just head towards the coast and you also get a view of some of the armaments. Wander to your left and keep walking upwards and you arrive on the hill summit with superb views of the area and what looks like an old circular fortification.

Had a two night stay here whilst touring the area. We didnít pre-book and were lucky to get a pitch as there were only a couple available when we arrived.

It was a little strange on arrival as the owner didnít seem to keen on us stopping as we had dogs, but after we chatted for a moment, she then seemed fine about it. All the other dogs on the site were kept under close control, which was good as we do the same with ours.

The site is right next to the coast road which did mean there was a bit of noise. There is a pub and shop in the village and depending on the path you take, the beach can be accessed by about a 1-1. 5 mile stroll.

The best part about this site was the small hill next to it, being on the flat coast, it's the only hill for miles and gave great views at sunset. The owner suggested it as a good viewpoint and it certainly was. Norfolk isn't local to us, but if it were, we'd use this site regularly.

A quick weekend break in Norfolk and what a find this place was. Foxhills is clean, friendly, peaceful, very well-kept and excellent VFM (£42 for 2 nights, family of 4 plus EHU). Pitches are very spacious and charmingly all named after birds - setting up pitch on 'Chaffinch' feels so much nicer than being #27 or whatever!

There is a main road adjacent but noise not really an issue at night. Worth noting that if you approach from the direction of Weybourne village, then access to the site requires you to almost double-back on yourself which is a challenge if you're not prepared for it.

Rained pretty solidly for 2 days but no drainage or standing water issues where we were pitched.

Only 2 showers so you can have to wait at busy times but there are excellent private washing facilities in the toilet block as an alternative.

There are no play facilities as such but everyone was very tolerant of our youngster throwing and kicking around various balls in between the rain showers and there is plenty of space to play in quite safely.

Beach, pub, church and local shop all within walking distance plus Sheringham, Blakeney and Holt all within 10 minutes drive so an excellent base for the local area.

Highly recommended and we will try to return when the weather is better!

Nice little site and we were greeted by Steve and Annemarie with a warm welcoming smile. I would recommend this site as it is very clean and well cared for. There was some work being done to upgrade the gentís toilet area so the ladies became unisex; no problem as some sites are only unisex. The area we were on was relatively flat however the field did drop away towards the museum lane. The site is within a half hour walk to the ĎNorfolk coast path' and walking to Cromer through Sheringham is possibly within most peoples capabilities a round 9miles. The little village has shop, tea room and pub which is a quarter of a mile, from the site, down the main road; which does not have a pavement (ok at this time of year) though may raise dangers at the height of summer. Thanks for a great 4night stop.

We stayed for just one night here and it was fine. Quite a small site but enough space and was quiet (some road noise, but not a problem).

Facilities were OK - not most up to date, but clean, functional and hot water. Washing up area is not under cover.

No children's facilities, but space to play and right next door to Muckleburgh Military Collection (shares same access from the main road).

Just returned from another wonderful holiday at foxhills. We had ten fabulous nights. As always a warm welcome. Even when the site was full the facilities were spotless. It was a nice touch that the pot wash had washing up liquid provided. If you are looking for a quiet family friendly site in a lovely area then foxhills is for you.

A very pretty little site, it is situated directly off the main road so there is some traffic noise, but this is hardly noticeable especially in the caravan club CL area at the back of the site.

The facilities are very basic and 'vintage in style' but were clean with lots of hot water etc.

Its a 10 minutes walk along the main road to the nearest pub cafe and shop from here you can also walk to the beach and onto the coastal path.

I was pack-packing along the Norfolk Coast Path, and stayed at several coastal camp-sites during my trip. This site is reasonably spacious - I was alone in the 'back-packing area' by the toilet block and picnic benches; it's quiet, apart from passing traffic; however the facilities are looking very faded compared to other sites.

I'm not really a fussy person. I wild-camp. All I wanted was a pitch, a warm shower, and an indoor toilet! However, the rate of £11 for a one-person hiking tent was much more than I'd paid at other sites.

The local pub, the Ship Inn, was great value; friendly service, tasty grub and good beers.

This is a great site. Large spacious pitches and the owner Steve is really helpful. The showers and toilets are really clean despite being a little rustic. Always plenty of hot water and we didn't queue at all. A great spot to explore the surrounding area and the steam train is a good way to get around as well as the Coasthopper buses which stop just outside.

A fantastic find, not overrun with rules and has a lovely laid back feel. The owner does not overfill the site preferring to keep it fairly quiet.
