We've just come back from a 3 night camping trip. As far as campsites go. This is lovely. Great amenities. Friendly owners and staff.

Had outstanding views and was a great base for Scarborough Bridlington and Filey for day trips. There's also a macdonalds and a Morrisons an easy 5 minute drive away.

Site has a tea room which serves a full English breakfast at a very reasonable price and also has a sweet shop and bakery that we're open.

It's located next to a busy A road which if you're a light sleeper might be a problem.

The owners of this site deserve a medal for being the most helpful couple to run a site.

They went out of their way to sort some electric for our pitch even though we were there for only one night.

We have used the site in the past and will use it in the future.

Very clean thanks

This is a site l will be going back to many more times. The owners, the catering staff, even the gardener are so friendly.

The homemade pies and buns are to die for.

The location is spot on

Itís very clean and tidy could not have been happier with our stay.

Hooked up here for NYE whilst surfing at Scarborough for New Years Eve and New Years Day. Really nice site.

Very clean/warm toilets and shower block. Hot showers included.

Lovely lady came and showed us to our pitch in the dark.

They are open all year which means we will be back soon and would happily use in summer as well.

The owners of this site were amazing. They couldn't do enough for us.

The site is really well run, clean and well organised.

It is small and friendly and is within easy reach of Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough, Beverley and Whitby.

The site also has a very friendly pub on site which serves excellent food and has a snug where children are allowed.

The added bonus to this site is the amazing Victorian arcade of shops where you can walk round and buy fresh bread, Chutneys, jams, pies and cakes that have been freshly made.

I would highly recommend this site and will returning in the near future.

Never again. Children not made to feel welcome.

A64 could be heard at all times. The field has hundreds of dangerous bumps and holes in the ground which is unsuitable for children playing, pitching a tent or caravan.

There are cows in field right next to tents, so tent stunk of cow mess the whole time. Showers are button press so only stay on for 10 secs at a time. They are also regularly cold!

There are only 2 ladies toilets for the entire campsite. Never again

Only used this site as a friend from Holland was stopping there for the night prior to catching the ferry home. He had arrived earlier & unknown to us had arranged for us to pitch next to him, so when we arrived, we were shown to a pitch the other end of the field, luckily, he had spotted us arriving, and crossed the field to collect us, which confused the lady who had booked us in, but was all sorted as soon as she heard.

Nice site, though much larger and closer to a main road than the sites we normally would use. Can't say anything about the on site pub or local facilities, as we spent the evening under his campervan awning talking & 'supping', traffic noise wasn't too bad, though I & my wife are both heavy sleepers, so no problems on that score.

Toilets & showers were clean and well kept, site itself was nice and level, though the pitch that we were originally shown to would have meant a very long walk to the facilities & water supply - would probably benefit from water points being put in along the back fence (I wouldn't have been able to carry a 10 litre water carrier back to the tent easily).

Friendly & helpful staff.
