This was our third stay at the site. We camped for the weekend with friends who had a caravan. Very large pitch so plenty of room for us all. Loads of room for the kids to play. Torn clothes count only one pair of shorts and no injuries. Plentiful hot water. We were lucky as we never had to queue for the showers but there are only three so would soon get busy.

We cycled round Grafham Water which was an easy family ride for us all. Plenty of picnic spots on the way round too.

Shop well stocked and friendly staff. Our friends have a dog and were welcomed to the pub on the bridge in St. Neots where we had a good Sunday lunch and the dog got free dog treats. On return to the site there was even a dog show on part of the field for us to all enjoy.

Only downside was the farmer ploughing his field at seven on Sunday morning but I was awake so it only bothered the OH.

Lovely big site, friendly staff, adequate shop & facilities (although shower cubicles & sinks could do with a shelf for shampoo/gel/etc).

Good to find a site you pay for on arrival and don't have to leave until 4:00pm

Definitely worth another visit. Plus a good play park for the kids. And its dog friendly. And not far from a town. A fish & chip van comes round on a Saturday 4 till 7pm. And also not far if you want to kyack on the river 0use st. Neots.

A wonderful campsite. Plenty of room for the non electric pitches. Loved the fact of pitching next to the trees to benefit from some shade as well as sitting in the sun. Great open space for the children to play. Brilliant shop that seemed to sell everything with lovely staff. We met the wardens who appeared very friendly and welcoming. Immaculate portakabin toilets in the larger field. Public footpaths close by for dog walking. The skate ramp did have some sharp splintered wood that ripped and grazed 2 of our children in our party, but the wardens acted quickly to prevent any further accidents by closing the ramp off. My only gripe would be for more showers. There is only 3 which isn't really enough for the amount of people the campsite can cater for. Thank you though for lots and lots of hooks both in the shower cubicle and by the sinks. A gem of a find by my friend and we will definitely be back with more twinkling lights and bunting to hang in the trees between our tents.

This is a fantastic site, lovely flat fields with plenty of room and free to pitch anywhere.

The shop is amazing and stocks what seems just about everything.

The showers and toilets are a short walk away, but the main field had a couple of portaloos in the middle, which were immaculate at all times.

The kids play area in the middle of the fields is a great place for them to congregate. The skate ramp is a great idea, but as mentioned in a previous review, beware of ripped clothes. My son ripped his shorts and pants and had a cut on his bottom.

Fish and chip van on a Saturday night is good and the ice cream van came round every evening.

I would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone

Lovely campsite set in a wonderful location. Really good shop on site. Nice clean showers and toilet block. Good sized pitches. Lots of room for children to play and a playground. No road noise at night just very peaceful. A good mix of campers and caravanners. Will be coming back again soon. A great find.

What a little Gem of a site. We went two families one in a tent and one in a caravan with four children aged between 6-13 years. We all loved it. I love the space everyone has, the kids can play football, rounders and generally run around. Not forgetting the play park which is brilliant. But watch the kids clothes on the Skate board ramp as my son lost two pairs of shorts due to them catching. The toilets were clean and nice and all the staff were lovely. Only little niggle would be if you was right up the top bit of the field I would not fancy walking all the way to the toilet in the night. But that's nothing really. It is one of the best sites we have been tooand we will definitely be coming back.

I chose this site because it's not too far away from us and we are new campers so still finding our feet. I emailed to book and then paid over the phone.

Check-in was easy, we rocked up to the wardens van and a really nice lady showed us where our pitch was. We chose electric hook-up so we could run the cool-box, charge phones etc. But to be honest we could cope without it.

The field is nice and flat and pitches are round the edge/down the hedge in the middle, it feels very spacious. The play area is easy to see from most pitches I would imagine, which meant our 8 year old could go off and make friends without us having to tail him all the time. There were a lot of groups there but it didn't cause us a problem and we didn't hear any noise at night.

The shop was amazing, a proper little Aladdin's cave and we found everything we needed + more. The chip van came on Saturday night and he was reasonably priced.

The toilets/showers were very clean every time we visited over the weekend and there was always hot water for washing up.

St Neots is close by if you want a day out, or Grafham Water is near if you fancy sailing/cycling. We didn't venture into the village so can't comment on the local pubs etc. But we did find a little cottage round the corner selling free-range eggs for £2 a dozen which were delicious!

All in all we loved it and will be back very soon, next time with our 2 dogs as there are some lovely walks.

WOW we have had another amazing time at Staughton we are a group of family and friends that is ever growing this year there were about 35 of us with growing numbers for next year which we have already pre booked. The facilities are great could do with a larger toilet/shower block but still great the wardens and shop staff are really helpful, we will be recommending Top end farm to any one that asks it also help the weather was fantastic we are looking forward to next year best bank holiday we had there. The playground was great for the children as they can go and play with out worrying. We had a total of 6 dogs which we enjoyed walking round the country side.

Very friendly site, Great for children and adults alike.

We were in a group of 6 electric pitches, were situated altogether as requested. Some of our group had not been before but will be visiting again as close enough to home for a weekend getaway but far enough to feel that you are away. St. Neots is only 10-15mins away which is a lovely town.

It is a very safe environment for the children and dog friendly.

Beautiful sunsets to enjoy.

The owners do a fantastic job of keeping the facilities very clean and tidy. There is always hot water for showers etc.

Very relaxing atmosphere.

Thank you so much, will be back again. This is our third visit of the year so far and enjoy it every time.

Visited recently and we cannot fault this site, it is extremely well maintained both outdoors and the shower blocks/toilets were spotless. The shop had everything you could think of - even our dogs had nice juicy bones and treats. It is very well stocked and the local home made produce is delicious! Could easily stay here a week or more. St Neots 5 mins drive & Thursday is market day. Also Grafham Water just a few miles away.

Only constructive comment I can think of is that I wasn't keen on how the cars were parked INFRONT of the tents not beside, it was prob the position we were in though but we went from having a lovely view of the park to looking straight out on a big green tent and a big orange jeep! As the park is popular I guess it's a way of offering more pitches, but like I say it was because we were tucked away in a corner which was nice when site quiet.

We will definitely be back very soon, we really love it here, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely weekend at Top End Farm. Great weather, Great Shop (very Well Stocked with everything you could want while camping), great facilities, freshly painted toilet/shower block and very clean. Very helpful wardens, as we are first time caravanners, they gave us lots of helpful advise.

Will definitely come back again

Just spent a lovely weekend at this site - arrived on Friday lunchtime and warden was concerned about letting us onto the grass pitch but was willing to compromise. We left our car on the hard standing and caravan just onto the grass so that we could erect our porch awning for the two nights.

Have been here before but later in the season - lovely flat grassy field with children's playground - not all pitches have electric hook up. Toilet block had just been finished with fresh coat of paint at the start of the season and was immaculately clean.

Plenty of walking nearby starting from the campsite; we completed a seven mile circular walk on Saturday.

Shop serves the village as well as the campsite and provides all that you would need, including daily freshly baked goodies (not healthy options!)and newspapers.

Not too far from Kimbolton and Grafham Water if you want a 12 mile bike ride - it was very busy at Grafham yesterday on a sunny Sunday in March.

Would definitely use this site again - thanks.

Lovely site, brilliant park for the kids, lots of different climbing frames, swings and a skateboard ramp!

Toilets very clean and well kept, just a niggle that the silicone in the showers could do with replacing, bit black in places. Kept very clean though and dry floors considering how many I saw use them.

Shop on site very well stocked with essentials, non essentials and camping equipment must haves.

Lovely fish and chip van reasonably priced visits on Saturday evenings, can recommend.

Only sore point with park was that the surrounding farms were muck spreading which you could not escape from! Our tent, car and clothes all stank by the end of the weekend, not something that can be controlled by the site but it will be a question we will ask when booking next!

First camping trip we have taken in 2 years and so glad we picked this site. We went with another couple and had 5 children between us aged 9 month to 6 years old. My wife is pregnant and the wardens were excellent in picking out the best spot for our pitch. They even provided additional porta-loos due to the amount of campers over the bank holiday and made sure they dropped one close enough to our tent for my wife's comfort.

The playground was a huge success will all of the children, especially the 6 year olds as they had their first taste of freedom. The playground is ideally situated near the back of the site and is visible from most pitches.

The toilet block was always warm, clean, and the water was hot. The additional porta-loos were situated in a couple of easy to reach places and all were kept in a pretty good condition. The wardens checked them regularly as with the toilet block.

The on site shop is also the local village shop and was well stocked for everything you could need. If not the nearest town is not far.

The chip van was on site Saturday but expect big queues. We drove into town and still managed to beat most of the people in the queue. A couple next to us used the local takeaway service and food was delivered right up to their tent (will have to try that next time).

The field is flat, soft and has excellent drainage. This weekend we had horrific rain all day and night, yet the field was not boggy the next day.

All in all a very good site and we will definitely be coming back in the future.

I'm staying on site with my husband and 4 children as I type! I have full phone and internet signal except In the toilet block not that I need it in there! My 4 children ages 13, 10, 7 and 5 are happily playing in the park where they have made lots of little friends to play with! The site is fairly busy everyone very polite, warden was very helpful on arrival yesterday and made you feel very welcome toilet and shower blocks very clean and fresh water lovely and warm. Shop is fantastic well stocked and not over priced! We will come and revisit this site again soon.
