Hidden gem with helpful friendly people. Site on flat ground, easy to get caravan into position. Good clean showers and toilets. Always spotless! Although we did not use them other facilities included washing up room with freezers, microwave etc

The people running the site could not be more friendly and helpful. Easy access to a lot of the North Wales coast and Lleyn peninsula. Caernarfon with it's various facilities is only a few miles down the road.

We've stayed here a few times now and as before can't recommend it highly enough. The owners are friendly and always on hand if you need them. The facilities are always clean and tidy and there's a fridge\freezer plus other items in the pot washing area that are free to use.

We like to stay in the field next to the beach as its spacious and roomy for the kids plus a very short walk to the beach which is great for walking dogs. We stayed over the bank holiday and whilst out one day our awning came loose, on return we found the owners had tied it down and were happy to help, lending me step ladders to secure it and repair a roof vent that had been knocked off by the flapping awning.

Honestly this is a great site with great owners and although not close to shops etc its a nice place to stay and near enough to lots of interesting places to visit.

We arrived at this site at around 18:15, to grey, miserable weather. The campsite owner was there waiting to greet us. He was very pleasent and friendly, directed us to our pitch. He Helped me to position our tent, then He left us to set up.

The Heavens opened and the Gales came. OMG! it was terrible.

Anyway. It took 5 and a half hours to setup due to the weather, Kids had their tea at 22:00 but apart from this, it seemed like a good site (lol).

The campsite is very basic, with only pot wash, Toilets and showers (shared) although it does have a fridge and freezer, and I noticed a slow cooker!

The fridge and freezer where very handy as I have an 8 month old daughter so needed to keep her bottles fresh.

I would revisit this site as it was good value for money, and quiet.

This was my third visit to this site in 12 months. Ideal location for that 'get away from it all' break. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much for them. I don't know when they sleep as they are always about keeping the site clean and tidy.

The kitchen area has both fridges and freezer available to use along with two sinks, information leaflets, power points. The water may not always be red hot for washing up but this is not the fault of the owners but the users who waste the hot water!

The shower block and toilets are spacious and clean once again the hot water is down to the users. People spending unnecessary amounts of time running the water off but hey ho that's people for you!.

The location is ideal for families as it is quiet and just a short walk to the beach. If you want a site that has a club and amusements then this is not the site for you as it's a site where you make your own entertainment.

Dog owners this is paradise for your pooches. Ours love it here.

It's just a short drive to Caernarfon where you can stock up on all the supplies you need. If like us the weather was too bad one morning to light the gas cooker (tenters) we would recommend Indigo Jones Cafe for a cooked breakfast (just a short drive away).

All in all a most relaxing site. And we will be definitely returning time and time again.

We opted for this site as a direct result of the reviews placed here, not expecting it to live up to all the claims made - silly me!

A couple of emails to the owners resulted in an offer of a reduced rate if all of us were in one tent which made it even more attractive

This is a brilliant site for anyone, particularly so for families with young children - we arrived as a group of 4 adults and three kids aged 3, 4 and 9 (first time for the 2 little ones) and it was brilliant ; peaceful, clean, well tended and with lashings of hot water - perfect, not even the lousy weather could spoil it!

Ideally placed for all the attractions on the Lleyn Peninsula and far enough from all the amenities not to be bothered by them - no pubs, chippis, or burger bars to disturb the peace; 15 mins drive to Caernarfon and it's castle, shops and market place fountains, and even closer for the beach at Dinas (the beach near the site is somewhat bereft of sand so hardly qualifies as a 'beach' at all but the walks along the coast are great)

And the site is dog friendly (although I would have liked to have seen more enforcement of the 'on lead at all times' rule)

We only had time for a week but we will definitely be going back - if you are looking for a clean, well run, quiet, friendly family site then look no further

We came across this campsite via UKCampsite.co.uk and decided to book based on reviews/ location. We weren't disappointed. Upon arrival a Lady greeted us and took us to our pitch and gave us info on area various useful phone numbers something I haven't experienced before and thought was a really nice gesture.

The campsite accommodated tents (some were in adjacent fields) caravans I think we were the only motorhome.

The beach is a fields walk away and is a mixture on sand/pebbles and rocks we didn't walk far having two elderly dogs it would have been too much.

The amenities were adequate though uni sexed this may not suit everyone, there was no hairdryer but we had one with us. There was a noise rule to minimise after 9. 30 this suited us fine as we like the quiet life. There is some distant traffic noise but wasn't enough to keep me awake.

There are no shops/pubs in walking distance so load up if you can.

Would we visit again - yes definitely if you want peace and quiet, no attractions except the lovely beach this is the place for you.

Was greeted by the lovely lady that runs the site. Who made the effort to provide us with a copy of useful numbers for the local doctor and vets (for the pet owners), in the communal kitchen was a stand full of tourist information with local excursions. The facilities were very clean. There are plenty of toilets and showers, including family shower rooms. Do take your own toilet roll as this is not provided for waste reasons, the site owners do provide other necessities such as hand wash, washing up bowls and ther are also a few bottles of washing up liquid too. The field itself that you pitch on is completely flat and quite a distance from the main road. Overall we had a brilliant experience the site owners are very friendly and approachable. We will definitely be returning.

This is a lovely site and the owner is very nice and helpful. The pebble beach is only a field away with beautiful walks. Quite a large site with only three shared toilets which can sometimes create queues. There isn't a shop on site but there is one a short drive away. There is limited hook up available. Caernarfon castle isn't far away and is a fabulous castle to visit you could spend best part of the day there! If your looking for piece and quiet this site is really worth a visit! Very nice site!
Management response: Please note we have in fact 7 toilets, not 3.

What a wonderful surprise, this campsite is a must, it is spotless, it is in the most amazing location, with the beach yards away and stunning mountain views.

The showers and toilets are so clean, we camped in quite bad weather and they were kept spotless at all times, the showers were wonderfully warm and plenty of room to fit the whole family in in one go. There was a wash up room, with plugs, microwaves fridges, and a tumble dryer, to be honest it was perfect

Eleri the campsite owner was wonderful, very warming and kind and a pleasure to meet, looking forward to going again soon

My wife and I had a lovely peaceful few days here just before the Bank holiday when we were told it can get busy!

The sea was just a 5 minuet walk away across a couple of small fields, you have to walk over the pebbles to get to the sand and sea. The scenery was idyllic.

The toilet block was for both genders not to sure I liked that but were clean and tidy (no loo roll provided. The owner was very friendly and helpful,

On the day we arrived the Olympic torch convoy was being taken along the main road and she goggled the time it was coming. Next time my wife and I are that way we would definitely book again.
