We stayed here after crossing the channel using the tunnel. It was very easy to find from the motorway. We had booked via an email and the owners were expecting us. Paid just over 22€ for one night stay for four of us with EHU. Pitch was nice and spacious and level. Easy to manoeuvre the motorhome into place. Lots of people using site for one or two nights as stopover. Toilet block near the entrance and all clean. Good facilities for washing up too. Toilet seats in some of the toilets but as in all of France, take your own loo roll. Bought some expensive chips for tea to have with our own food. Bar and restaurant area looked nice. Site is next to a little river and some lovely 'green' paths for walking and cycling. Large supermarket nearby for filling up with fuel the next morning. There is an 'aire' right next door to campsite which I think was 12€ a night. Would use it again as a stopover although would probably drive further from Calais next time as it made our journey to Brittany the next day very long!

This site is a good stop over point to or from Calais ports/tunnel.
This is one of the busiest sites we have come across, make sure yo get there as soon as you can after the agreed book in time as the site soon becomes full. There is a brand new Aire adjacent to the site with full facilities if you arrive too late. The owner books you in, takes you to your pitch, cleans the toilets looks after the grounds and helps in the restaurant. He is the busiest man we have ever seen.
Facilities are not new but very adequate with plenty of hot water and some privacy (sinks) rooms and seem to cope really well for a full site.
There is good walking right from the entrance along a resurfaced old rail line.
The restaurant does take-away, just take your own bowls when you go to order. The food is good and a reasonable price. We needed some milk after the shop had closed, the lady opened the shop, no problem.

We only stayed here for one night on our way south so my experience is limited. We called “on spec” but didn’t have a problem getting a pitch although the site looked quite busy. It was the best quality grass pitch we stayed on during our whole holiday. The pitch had electricity with tap and drain nearby. The facilities were clean and the showers were unisex with plenty of hot water. The toilets were separate for men and women with no toilet seats and no toilet paper.
There is a facility to order bread and croissants etc for collection the next morning and a small restaurant which looked good but we didn’t use as we’d already eaten on the ferry. The site is very close to the A28 and is therefore a very convenient stop-off – located near Le Clerc, Aldi and Lidl. There is also a fuel station at LeClerc. Neufchâtel-en-Bray is a nice little town to walk round.
This site is very good value for money and even better with ACSI.

Just spent 6 nights at Sainte Claire, and I have yo say that this site is the best we have used in France.
The approach road to the site is less than inspiring, as you pass, the supermarkets, and then the water treatment works, but then you turn in to site itself, and any worries are soon forgotten, as others have stated in previous reviews the landscaping and general upkeep of the site can only be described as immaculate.
The owner took us down to our pitch (by the river) and told us to pitch any way we liked, the pitch was massive, with its own water, and 10A electricity.
The amenities are immaculate, showers, toilets, and dishwashing areas, small on site shop where we collected our croissants and baguettes every morning - The restaurant also looked OK, although we never used it, so can't comment on the food.
Supermarkets, LeClerc, Lidl, and Aldi are within an easy 5 - 10 minute walk from the site, and there is also a McDonalds (If you must!)
The walk in to Neufchatel en Bray took us about 15 minutes, the town itself is OK but nothing special.
We are already planning to visit again next year

This was an absolute gem of a site and great credit must go the owners who keep everything immaculate, the pitches are a good size and the grass is just perfect. We liked it so much we decided to go on our return instead of driving direct to Calais. The Leclerc down the road is huge and I really wished we had seen it earlier as we hauled our stash of wine all the way from Saumur. I just cant fault the site and we plan to return for a short trip just to that site and use the adjacent cycle path. We ate in the restaurant on site and it was a lovely reasonably priced meal. The site was 12. 40 euros with ACSI.

I fully agree with other comments on the excellent facilities at this site. We also thoroughly enjoyed our stays on two separate visits recently.
However on a quick scan of other reviews and the camp's own website, I have not seen any reference to the 3. 5T weight restriction applying to the access road. Apologies if I missed it somewhere.
The issue of 3. 5T restrictions in France is a controversial one that has been widely debateds. The fact remains that this restriction exists on the access road and it ought to be drawn to the attention of larger motorhome owners planning to visit Camping de Ste Claire.

We stayed here for one night only, on our way back home from The Dordogne.
The booking process was easy, however we waited nearly a week for a response on availability, and in the end had to call the site!
Having said that, it was perfectly situated as a stopover point heading north to Calais. We departed on a Sunday morning and were at the Eurotunnel in an hour and a half.
This site is an absolute gem, beautifully looked after and the owners clearly take pride in what they do. We were shown our pitch and were able to stay hitched on for the night, making our departure easier in the morning.
After a long drive from the south, we were very lazy and found the local McDonalds for tea. A short 5 minute walk from the site.
This is a very popular site, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Highly recommend.

Stopped here overnight on our way back from Spain. Very easy to find off the motorway and near to a big Leclerc supermarket with cheap fuel. The site was very pretty and peaceful and the showers were clean, although a little cramped as everything seemed to get wet. Very reasonable priced site for an overnight stop but nothing for children to do. Would still stay there again as it was a really pleasant site.

Excellent site - we stopped over here going both from and to Calais (approx 2 hrs). I agree with previous reviewers: the site is immaculately kept and facilities very clean. The small bistro restaurant serves simple but good meals. In addition, the 50K Voie Verte (traffic-free Greenway) running between Dieppe and Forges les Eaux runs right past the site entrance, so it's excellent for cycling, walking, running etc.

Used this site as stopover on way back from from the Vendee going to Calais. Two hours from from Calais and only a mile or two from the motorway.
Found by chance, after putting a search in Sat Nav. Glad we stayed here. Well manicured and large grass pitches. Pleasant restaurant and clean toilets.
Large well stocked supermarket just down the road.
Seemed to be used by a lot of UK and Dutch as a stopover. Good place to meet other caravanners to swap travel tips and plans.
Good value at 23 euros for caravan EHU, 2 adults & 3 kids
