I was so impressed with this place. The grounds are beautiful, all flowers, manicured lawns and converted traditional farm buildings. The food was fabulous and very reasonable, home cooked and traditional. Laundry cheaper than average and there was good baby bathing facilities( our two year old put his arm up the exhaust and rubbed the soot all over himself) They appear to work very hard to maintain this beautiful site. 2 hours from calais. I didn't try it but apparently there is a pool 500 m away.

We have used this site as an overnight stop for the last few years.
It is ideally located just a couple of miles from the motorway. The site itself is very clean and well kept. The pitches are mostly flat and easy to access. We found a couple of the pitches slightly closer together than we are used to, but definitely fine for overnight stay. The site is larger and busier than we would choose for a holiday, but again, as a stop over enroute it's highly recommended.
There is a small restaurant/bar on site and fresh bread available daily. The owners are friendly and helpful.

We have used this site several times over the last 5 years as a stopover from / to Eurotunnel on our way South. It's a large busy site with many English and Dutch overnighters as well as holiday makers. Reception is very helpful, and he cycles down with you to pitch. Pitches are flat and mainly drive in / drive out, so no reversing or motor mover needed. Site is really geared for short stops, although some stay for a while.
Baguettes can be ordered on arrival. There is a restaurant on site. There is also a Leclerc hypermarket within 1km (come out of site, turn right and keep going) with petrol, so save 15c litre on motorway fuel prices.
This is a very easy site for an overnight stop, so advise ringing to book in high season. Only minor issue - don't forget the toilet roll! Showers are good. The facilities block is dated but clean and functional.
Really good for dog walk - turn left outside the site and there's a green lane to Dieppe.

I really liked this site. Like other people, we used it as a stop over before heading elsewhere and used it as a welcome rest before going back to Calais on our return journey home.
It is about 2 hours away from Calais so very handy and is directly off junction 9 of the motorway-very easy access (although it is not close enough that you can hear/see the motorway!)
I would say book this site if you are thinking of going, don't just turn up! I booked and when we got there on the outward journey there was a full sign on the gate and a few people trying to get a pitch. On the way home, it wasn't as busy but I put that down to the weather!
Our pitch for the first night was overlooking a small river with ducks on our doorstep and a mixture of trees and bamboo as our vista whilst washing up at the sink!
Speaking to our neighbours that night, they had been at the site for six months!
On the way home, we were given a less scenic pitch (just grass overlooking other caravans!)but we were that tired we didn't care! All the pitches seem level, big and in good condition.
I didn't use the showers but the loo's were clean, however take some toilet paper!
There is a restaurant on site but we didn't bother so can't comment on that.
The area is lovely. All the buildings have character which you would not expect on the approach because you have to drive through an industrial area!
We walked our dog out the site and headed left into the hamlet. Following the road round, there is a tarmacked nature trail walk that takes you eventually to Dieppe however just before that, turning left again into what looks initially like a private road, is infact a footpath that takes you across a bridge and into the neighbouring village which is very pretty. How they keep their lawns so immaculate I have no idea!
I didn't see much for children to do but there is a McDonald's down the road!
Overall, it is a clean, level site, good for stop overs, dog walkers/walkers or somewhere peaceful to relax and experience France not too far from Calais. I have recommended it to several people and would go back.

This is an excellent stopover and does get crowded, so it's best to book in advance (the 'site full' notice was up when we arrived). Just send an email via UKCS and you will soon receive a reply. The owner seems to read English better than he speaks it, but it's easy enough to be understood. It's a €12 ACSI site in low season, but this is for 6 amps of electricity, if you want 10amps, then the cost will be €14, still fair enough.
The supermarket is practically next door, but beware that this is shut for a public holiday (as is most of the town) on the last Monday in May. Dieppe is about 25 miles away on the coast, worth a visit and there was a supermarket open here.
If you are not in a huge hurry, you can avoid autoroute tolls by taking the road from Dunkerque to St. Omer and then via Hesdin to Abbeville, where the autoroute becomes toll free.

Immaculate grounds. Never before seen a site tended to like this one. Very cheap so a prefect stopover site. An easy 3hours from calais on non toll roads. Touring and seasonal pitches. Very popular with tourers of all nationalities. A large supermarket a 5 min walk away. Site is very easy to find from the main road. A MUST if you are in the area. A warm welcome at reception. No hedges so quite open pitches. A bar on site. Sanitaires french (no toilet seat or paper) but extremely clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

We twice stayed overnight at Neufchatel , very friendly it was too.
They seemed geared up to a lot of single night stayers, en route to somewhere else. People staying for more than 1 night seemed to get nice pitches nearer the stream, and we overnighters were nearer the entrance. Can't complain really.
The site barrier opened at 7am, and we were in Calais for 09:30. The leclerc supermarket 400m away had a 24h card operated filling station, which accepted my Barclays debit card with no probs.
Typical French site, with no loo seats, but spotless nonetheless. We took our own loo roll and kind of fashioned a seat out of paper!

Used this site on the way down and back.
The site is extremely well maintained and the pitches well defined. Our pitch on both occasions had electric, water supply and waste.
The site was mainly used by Dutch and Brits as a 1 night stop over.
Showers and toilet facilities were extremely clean with a constant supply of hot water (maybe too hot)
You can pre-order your bread the night before, however there are 2 supermarkets less than 1/4 of a mile away and McDonalds if required. Also 24hour fuel if required at the Le Clerc.
No toilet seats in either men's or female's and remember your toilet roll as there are none provided.
Excellent site, perfect distance from the ports (2hrs). Recommend using junction 9 off the motorway head down the hill and turn left. You will pass an Aldi on your right and a bit further Le Clerc & McDonalds on you left. The site is a few hundred yards on your left.
1 bit of advice is that we pre-booked on the way down, a good job as the site was full for the outward leg of our journey.
Unfortunately there are no facilities for children, but the McDonalds does have a play area.
Excellent site, would thoroughly recommend it.

An excellent campsite especially if you are heading home and need an overnight stop within 2 hours of Calais etc I have used this site twice and would recommend it.
Easy to find as you come off the motorway and head into Neufchateau en Bray.
All pitches were level and on short mown grass. There is electric and water on the pitch we used. Showers were of good quality and overall I think its a good well kept site, with cheery staff no matter when you arrive! There is a small restaurant and bar area but its not cheap, but who needs that when the fridge in the caravan is full! This site is predominately used by Brits although there are afew Germans and Dutch too.
There is a Le Clerc [supermarket] and Lidl about 2 minutes from the site [fill up with fuel and wine]and if you are there on a Saturday morning a market in the town, this is about 10 minute stroll from the site.

Excellent over-night stop to or from ferry ports. Agree with all the previous reviews although we had no idea that there was a treatment works nearby. We were out of season and the site was slightly less expensive than camping cheques. Opted for 6amp but given 10amp near the stream all lined-up ready to go next morning. Very attractive setting beside a clear flowing stream. Buildings and facilities could be described as pleasantly quaint. It's only a couple of kilometers from the auto-route exit just SOUTH of Neufchatel-en-Bray. Take a left turn at the bottom of the hill just before entering the actual centre ville. Very good shopping nearby ideal for stocking-up makes it one of our favourite overnight (or two!) The impressive 'grande maison' overlooking the site has an unusual slight angle in the middle of one wall and an immaculate slate tiled roof accommodates the subtle change in wall direction. Turns out that it was a old watermill.
