Fantastic newly opened site. Excellent facilities.

Owners really helpful.

Good for dog walking as loads of open spaces and a river.

Nice walk into the village to the local pub.

Will definitely be returning soon.

Please note that after a period of some years closed, this campsite is now under new ownership and has reopened for the 2019 season onwards. Tents, caravans and campervans now welcome again!

Fairly even ground with EHU for 5 units. No shower but washbasin with hotwater and one flush loo on site (adequate if your caravan has its own facilities ie loo / shower / hotwater).

Very friendly proprietors and area very clean and pretty. Good views across valley and of Bowes Castle from further down the field. Open location therefore little shelter and quite prone to winds.

Didn't visit the local pub which was within walking distance - village very quiet and campsite easily accessible.

Would be more than happy to visit again.
