 We had four nights in a tent including electric, the electric is pay what you use and I was amazed that over four nights we only used £3 of electric even though our cooking is done on an electric grill.
It is a very well looked after site and the pitches are very large and flat the owners were always around and very friendly,
Just out of the back gate is the river and you can walk into March for lunch or evening meal, there is also a pub called the cobblestone which is about 1 mile away that does decent pub grub
Large Tesco and Aldi 1 mile so everything is on your doorstep, however the site feels very removed from all that and is in the countryside.
My only negative is there are only two toilets with wash basins and two showers in total (all kept very clean) so my advice is avoid going between 7 and 9 in the morning if you can otherwise be prepared to wait a while.

Excellent facilities and friendly hosts.
Access to kayak/canoe hire was a great bonus.
Close to the town of March and shops, pubs and eateries etc.
The site is well spread out and maintained.
Will definitely stay here again when in the area 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay at Four Winds. If you are looking for all singing and dancing with bar and entertainment - then scroll on.
If you are looking for a friendly and very helpful welcoming staff who are on hand and help you then this is the place for you.
For various reasons we had a tricky 'getting ready' to camp and ended up forgetting items needed for cooking. Debs and Hannah were able to provide us with saucepans and utensils that we needed. Andy was around to help too.
We hired kayak and SUP boards and the River Nene is just at the perimeter of the campsite for wild swimming and walking too.
A pleasant footpath into March and easy to reach the train station.
If we were in the area again we would return.

Spacious and well kept campsite area with firepits.
Enjoyed having a drink around the fire.
There is wood chippings/logs to purchase.
The little reception shop is just amazing.
Lots of snacks hot drinks to buy including fresh eggs.
Clean smart showers the water comes out good.

Great campsite because:
Showers are clean and hot
Area to clean dishes is always clean
Canoeing to town is great fun and a trip to a local pub for a Guiness
Onsite Friday night pizza tasty and needed!
Well kept generally
Onsite shop to buy ice cream and forgotten toothpaste!

Great site on the river – nice big field for playing games.
Showers toilets, and washing up area were kept really clean and there was plenty of hot water.
Location is good – nice walk into March along the river (took about half an hour at a leisurely pace).
Hiring canoes was good fun.

We wanted to 'test' our new (second hand) campervan so booked in for one night.
We very much liked the site; booked a hard stand with electric hookup.
Site was clean and well maintained.
Showers and toilet block spotlessly clean. We also used the breakfast facility and enjoyed our bacon sandwich.
Overall an excellent stay. We will come again.

Great camping visit with a family group. Big pitches. Well kept site. Nice and quiet listening to the owls at night
Good to have the campfire facilities.
It was ideal as one couple who no longer camp were able to book into the lovely self catering accommodation too. Ideal for mixed preferences.

Yet another stop on my yearly tour, I always read the reviews and note
That in later months it is quieter, there was canoes available not sure where the wild swimming as the canal is not the place at anytime, There was no mention of Air rifle shooting or Archery.
The Pods are quite Busy as they have electric and showers as part of the cost. The others Have tokens to purchase.
The place is quite at night and on summer evenings a walk into town is ok.
There are all the main shops within 2 miles of the site and some good public house with excellent ale and food of your choice.
The space is large enough for groups and rallies, should you require it.
I saw no wardens maybe Summer only.
The town has many things to offer and history is available.
Maybe return in summertime when more life

What a lovely little campsite. Was so peaceful and well kept.
The owners and wardens very friendly and we had a lovely relaxing time.
Short walk into March town centre along the river. Close to Cambridge and Ely.
We really enjoyed our stay
