hi all ive just got back from a great weekend at shell island  im just looking for a  change/alternative im in the midlands and dont wana travel to far as i only go for a few days at a time any recommendations ??7

If you don't mind being inland then you could also try The Plassey it's a brillant site great facilities for all ages too and one of my all time favourites and really is a short drive!

Whereabouts are you in the Midlands?

Just thought of another one too Riverside we've been there lovely site

oh me too - so there are sites in really easy reach that are worth a visit - The Green at Wentor - 45 minutes great for the weekend.

Townsend Touring Park - near Hereford excellent butchers on site in a nice black and white village.

small world ehh ill look into them..... we always go to shell island we do love the place but just fancy a change

 As you already go to North Wales , some of those sites around Bala Lake are spectacular .
