 Initially had trouble booking told wasn't booked in then on arrival told we had booked 2 pitches, luckily the lady in reception was very helpful (guess she's had to deal with this issue before).
Still £30 night plus £10 per day to fish all lakes now back to normal.
Most pitches seem to be seasonal facilities clean push button showers mobile reception fair on site wifi chargeable freeview reception good.
Local pub not dog friendly but great location on banks of river.
Huntingdon and St. Ives easily accessed by car both worth a visit.
Will go back some day

We use this site regularly when going up and down the country as its very convenient. £30pn cash including electric.
Office staff are always helpful and the facilities are always clean and warm. Pitches are a good size, hardstanding, have electric and water and there is a drive over grey waste.
We had Sunday roast at the Hartford Mill as well as breakfast the following morning and both were good value and its only 5 min walk from the site.
Bus stops to St Ives and Huntingdon are near the pub entrance. It's also lovely that the garden centre, food shop etc have reopened across from the campsite entrance.
We will definitely use this site again.

Only stayed for 1 night so didn't see much of the site. But we did see was very nice and clean and tidy site.
We had lovely hard standing servive pitch. The pitch was right on the lake.
Not being a fisherman but if I was it would have been excellent pitch for fishing.
Will definitely go back there again.

This is quite a difficult review to submit, This is still a wonderful site and all the ablutions and facilities remaining in good condition due to the efforts of the couple that actually run the site,
However, due to some issues with contamination of water in the lakes and diseased fish that has not been dealt with correctly, there are few fish to catch here for those of you that are booking in here to fish.
There is no indication that there are problems with the waters, but the management have raised the day ticket price to £10, so if you are looking for a fishing break, at £40 a night all in, you are wasting your money.
This is so sad as the fishing here used to be good but lack of effort to remedy a situation that has been ongoing for quite a few months now is ruining what was a really good site.
If you aren't going to fish, the site is still good, but as an advertised Fishery it is wrongly listed currently

A nice and peaceful site with a bus route just outside and a nice walk to the local village and pub.
It made a good location to visit St. Ives and Cambridge.

This is a really lovely site with good, clean facilities. In the shower block there are ample toilets, showers and shower rooms plus an extra for disabled visitors.
It's ideal for exploring Huntingdon/Cambridgeshire. The pitches are large and well kept, nearly all having a lake view.
It appeared busy when we visited but a lot of the caravans were on seasonal pitches so not quite as busy as first appeared. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
And the fees were very reasonable considering it was August.
We would definitely visit again.

A lovely tranquil setting. The site was lovely, well maintained and picturesque.
With it being adults only it was quiet and friendly.
The staff were friendly, very helpful and understanding when my needs changed due to unforeseen circumstances.
A wonderful 4 days peace and rest,
I will certainly visit again soon.

Lovely site with flat, reasonably spaced out pitches and an individual water tap on the EHU bollard.
There is a pleasant walk around the lakes and the perimeter of the site including river frontage.
There is no on-site shop but immediately opposite is a large garden centre/retail outlet with cafe and food store. Turn left out of the site, 5 minutes walk and there is a rather corporate pub.
Carry on 25 mins walk to pretty Hartford Village and there are 2 dog friendly village pubs and shop. Or turn right out of the site and walk 20 mins to Houghton, a very pretty chocolate box village with 2 dog friendly pubs and small shops.

Asked for a pitch in the sunshine but the two we were given had big trees behind them, reception were very good and gave us a choice.
We moved to 2 lovely pitches overlooking one of the lakes and very close to the facilities which was great
The staff were all very friendly and did an excellent job of keeping everything pristine

Phone booking worked well, friendly and helpful staff.
Site clean and well-organised with attractive open water making it easy to see why it’s adults only.
Lovely riverside walk for the dog. Perfect for fishing.
Storm Bert didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for the place and we hope to return soon.

What a lovely site. We were welcomed by friendly hosts and introduced to the amenities and our pitch.
Great walks for the dogs and the site was peaceful and quiet.
We will definitely be going back there in the new year.

Arrived Saturday 31st August 2024 Really friendly welcome taken to our site with plenty of room right next to lake.
The park is kept well and very tidy warden is often around making sure we were okay but not intrusive he was great with information about the park and local area.
Fishing was ok saw some really big carp caught although not me, had some smaller fish though.
Just across the road from the sit entrance is a large garden centre including a supermarket with all you need plus St Ives and Huntingdon very near.
It was our first time here but we will come again we had a wonderful time really friendly site.

Spent a weekend with friends at Wyton Lakes.
Very nice site with friendly staff.
Plus, the ice cream van visits - what more could you want!?

Wardens very friendly and keep a very clean site.
Only suggestion is regarding the fishing. Upon arrival in the afternoon perhaps offer a half day ticket and offer perhaps the lake side pitches a chance to purchase a fishing ticket as part of the price.

Please note that this campsite is cash only. We didn’t know this, but fortunately had just enough with us to pay.
Lovely adults only site.
Opposite Dobbies Garden Centre which has a restaurant.
Fishing opportunities.
Pitch could have been a bit larger.
Showers and toilets were clean but shower head sprays were too far apart from each other over a large radius which made for a slightly odd shower experience.
Clean and tidy washing up/laundry room. Friendly site managers.
